Most meals are fine. There needs to be more choices. The Mexican style meals are very dry so will probably not order those again. The plastic covering is very difficult to remove. I usually have to cut them.

A trip to Low Fodmap As a long time sufferer of a most annoying and irritable bowel (syndrome), I was intrigued by the possibility of a plan that would help me with ready made meals that were designed to reduce the effects of my pesky IBS. I was taking supplements and Miralax but my doctor thought going low fodmap couldn't hurt- especially if the meals came readymade so to speak. Enter Modified Health. And I have appreciated much of what your company does- five (no! six stars) for customer service and really first rate personal attention and prompt shipments. Kudos too for the creative menu and the wide variety. Unfortunately there is a major problem with some of the food and it's pretty serious to say the least. The chicken in all the different recipes is almost inedible- the vegetables are fine but the chicken itself is tough and stringy and resistant to chewing. The scrambled eggs are also close to inedible-again the accoutrements are nice but the eggs are overcooked. Not surprisingly the salmon and the pasta with meat sauce are nice - easier I guess to cook and freeze. The beef dishes were ok too. And since I never planned to have more than a four week 'subscription,' I certainly cannot be that picky. But I do wish you would work on the chicken 🐓 and eggs 🍳 No stars for them, I am sorry to say Thanks again for being a valuable choice in my search for a cure. I am still working towards full relief but learned an amazing amount of information from my time with Modified Health. Sincerely Danise Chandler

I would like flexibility in features where I can modify weeks in advance rather than just one week in advance. I can not edit, cancel, or skip my meals especially if I know I'm going on vacation or away for a longer period of time. I have to remember to modify one week at a time. I travel a lot and forgot to cancel for this week and now I have a month of frozen stock pile of meals in my freezer b/c I can't catch up to the meals I received from the previous weeks.

The plastic is ridiculously hard if not impossible to pull off. You have to cut it. Any way you can make it less difficult?

MB, Thank you for this feedback. We understand that the current method for sealing meals is not the most preferred, and we are listening! Though we picked the vacuum seal in order to keep your meals safe from spills, leaks, contamination, etc, we have been working to improve the packaging.
