Hi Mitchell, I’m really sorry for the stress and frustration this caused, especially while you’re recovering. We looked into this, and it appears your payment plan was not properly cancelled after your Launch Kickoff call was originally booked. That was our mistake, and we sincerely apologize. The two attempts happened because the first payment failed and the system automatically retried it - but to be very clear, this was not deliberate and no charge went through. We’re grateful your bank protected you from being charged, and we understand why this would have been alarming from your side. We’ve already reached out to you privately to apologize and make sure this is fully resolved. We take this seriously, and we’re reviewing our process so this does not happen again. We reviewed your account, and our records show that the software subscription was started on September 23, 2024. If it would be helpful, we’re happy to send over the record we have from that signup so you can review it as well. I also want to clarify that our support email is listed on our website, and our team responds within 24 hours on business days. From what I can see, our team responded to you right away and refunded the recent payment. We care about treating people fairly, and we never want anyone to feel stuck or unable to reach us. I reviewed the account history, and it looks like there was still an active Twilio phone messaging subscription attached to your account. That subscription was set to renew automatically, which is what triggered the $10 payment attempt. The good news is that the payment did not go through, so you were not charged. I also want to clarify the support side. The best way to reach us is [email protected], which is listed on our website, and our team responds within 24 hours on business days. In this case, I can see that you reached out on August 18th, and our team resolved it for you on August 19th. I’m sorry this felt difficult to sort out.
