Modern MusicianReviews of modern-musician.com

If you are an independent musician with confidence in your music and serious about turning it into a career then I can't recommend modern musician highly enough. I researched and researched for over a year on how to market my music online and to start bringing in fans that I could connect with and was relatively unsuccessful to say the least. After teaming up with modern musician in just 3 months I now have a solid email list close to 100 people (starting from ZERO) and my own private group of fans who actually love my music and are willing to purchase merchandise from me. All the while the fan magnet systems are in place that those numbers continue to grow everyday. Modern Musician have a great team of coaches that know what they are doing and are always there for your support. The community they've built for musicians all at similar steps in their career is a great place to ask questions and reflect off of others' ideas and problems that they are facing. My experience with modern musician has been wonderful, I now have a viable business strategy to back up my music!

I have been involved with so many types of master minds, artist development programs, and webinars over the years to better myself and my craft but like most artists, most of these programs fall short in so many ways. "Modern Musician", and more importantly the team here, gives you a viable pathway to lay the ground work for "real" improvement in fan engagement, marketing as a artist, and real talk about ROI as a musician. If you want "real" answers not fluffed up numbers and fake reviews, then this is the only place I know of right now taking you literally from point A to point B as a musician. But honestly for me, the most important part was actually finding out more about me as an artist, who are my fans, what is my music, and who does it attract? I can't say enough about Michael Walker, Modern Musician, and the rest of the incredible team to truly do it justice but to say Thank you and I feel like I have made lasting relationships as well....Incredible!

MM has been so essential for me! The program has taken my career - and my relationship with my career - to a new level. In the space of a year, I more than doubled my fanbase and was finally able to cover my advertising costs by selling merch to superfans all over the world. It's a lot of work, but very much worth it. Michael and team have created an ever-evolving system that gives artists real agency in these confusing times. Highly recommend.

Modern Musician is a game changer. They’ve taken me from being frustrated with how to utilize social media as a musician to becoming an expert on sales, running ads, automation, and everything that goes along with being a digital marketer. This is by far the best program for any musician looking to learn the ins & outs of how to run a profitable music career in an increasingly digital world.

Modern Musician Last spring when we realized we would not be on the road for the first summer since about 1999 we figured we need to do something productive for our business. We have been in our band for 30 years and touring with that band since for 20 of those years. Our band and music has been our sole method of income since 2003 so not touring in the summer last year was a big chunk of lost income. For me I was seeing a trend each year less an less income from shows. So I knew we needed to change up our way of really thinking about how we did music. I am so grateful that during that time I found Modern Musician. Michael Walker has a definitive way of opening your mind to so much that you can so to change the trajectory of you music career. So many skills that we are taught in a format that introduces you to other likeminded musicians so you have built in support group. Before Modern Musician I still had a traditional view of what kind of living we could make that mostly involved going on the road and making records. Being a Modern Musician is so much more than that because the music industry is what you make it and once Bob and I learned that not even a pandemic can stop us from being the best musicians we can be. Because of what we invested in ourselves last summer we have been continually earning close to our goal income each month since March. If you are at a-point in you life or career that you know you are ready to because the best at managing your career I highly recommend trying Modern Musician.

I have been seriously creating music for about 1 year and growing my fanbase on a bunch of platforms. I was on my artist grind... but I really wasn't making much money from my passion. I was hitting hundreds of thousands of streams on my own, but I was barely making any money for my essentials. I was kind of lost... I had drive, but no guidance. That's when I found Modern Musician. Earlier this year I was swiping through IG stories and i saw Michael's ad and honestly I skip through ads very quickly... but he seemed very genuine and it really couldn't hurt. Long story short, I made an investment IN MYSELF. I've spent thousands of dollars to pay for textbooks, classes, and items that I didn't care about. But this time... i made an investment in what truly matters to me. My growth as an artist and getting paid for my creative desires- is the path I chose for myself. I've learned more in this year, than I have in my 4 years of college... i use the tools almost every day and have grown my fanbase tremendously. Slowly but surely, I am getting paid for my value as an artist, musician, and person. The support and encouragement this team has for me? We family. Choose your path and keep moving forward!

Hey you! If you’re reading this, and you’re on the fence about joining this program, I’m writing this review specifically for you! DO IT! Michael and the entire Modern Musician team have their product down to a science, and you will NOT find anything this comprehensive on this end of the market! I was nervous about the initial investment, and there are times when I felt like I might be in over my head, but that’s just my own insecurities telling me I won’t succeed. And guess what, they know how to help with all that sticky mindset stuff too! 🧠🧼 It’s a program for the artist’s business AND overall well-being with strong foundational courses and a warm welcoming community! I took the leap and never looked back, and neither will you! Good luck! 🌟

My experience with Modern Musician has been absolutely game-changing. I signed up for their gold artist program three months ago, and at the time I was afraid to part with my $5000. The experience has been worth five times that much. The skills and tools I've been given over the last three months are groundbreaking. Everything from discovering and developing my artist identity and continuously getting in touch with my driving purpose for making music - to learning how to market my songs to an engaged fanbase, honed in through the most up to date advertising tools. And ultimately tapping into a fully automated system that allows me to focus on the craft I love rather than spending all day at the computer. Modern Musician has blown my mind and awakened me to the new wave of what it means to be a successful independent musician in the year 2020. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to make it without a record deal. Now I feel confident that I can make a living as a musician playing my own music, on my own. And when/if the right deal comes along, I will be ready to make them my partner rather than my savior. I could not recommend Modern Musician more highly. If I could make one suggestion to a fellow indie musician - don't wait as long as I did to take the leap.
