MIU grounded me physically and emotionally. How many schools can you say that about? Not only did I get an excellent education in my field, but I was nourished and supported as a human being.

The best place I ever found to come for an education. Why? You not only get a traditional curriculum but with Transcendental Meditation it awakens your consciousness more and more i.e. makes your mind more awake, creative and able to make deep connections. This whole educational system actually gives you an unfair advantage over what the rest of colleges offer. Your IQ will actually go up instead of down!

Unique approach education which for many people can be very beneficial. Worth looking into especially if you find traditional approach to education unfulfilling Friendly community is also a plus

TM is the best thing I've ever done. All I can say in a few words is that I can see other people who don't meditate not achieving their goals. Honestly, even emotionally, struggles are more difficult to conquer.

The accomplished faculty are dedicated to the student's learning, and the daily structure supports time for meditation which promotes the use of one's full potential and creativity.

It is just different... in its approach, in its behavior as an institution of higher learning, in its expectation of you as a student, in the manner of service delivery and in the overall compassion and concern for a students growth.. There is nothing quite like it. A chance to study at MIU will give you access to a community of friends that honestly will last a lifetime. The sense of warmth and belonging that comes from having been a part of MIU is something i doubt any other institution can match. It's not about the quality of the education, or extra curricular activities, or lifestyle, or any of the other markers that people use to assess an institution that set it apart, and above all others ( although it scores highly on all those). It is the simple fact that anyone who chooses or considers MIU has something about them that speaks to, and recognizes a common unspoken bond that drives us all. And for those that don't seek but still manage to stumble onto MIU, it sparks this awakening. it's a community of breathtaking diversity yet agreeable and in touch with everthing around it. . The vibrancy, unbridled enthusiasm, over flowing positivity, cacophony of cultures, ... it's just a beautiful world there. Even when you leave... it stays with you forever.
