The keys I had made don't work and they are not giving me a refund. I've spent a week and approximately 20 emails going back and forth with no luck. I did not get a paper receipt. I used my debit card and I showed them the receipt from my statement and that is not good enough for them. Skip these machines.

One star only because there are no negative stars. You go through the entire process and only after entering credit card number etc do they tell you they have to ship the key from someplace else rather than get it in the Kiosk. Then they send you a tracking number that doesn't track to any delivery service - including USPS that they say is the carrier. Customer service is no help. Go someplace else for duplicating keys.

Don’t ever get a key cut here! They’re ridiculously expensive, the keys are so flimsy and they don’t even work. I literally had three cut and paid extra for ones with design on them almost $10 a key. And they didn’t even work! And they don’t even refund your money. They wait weeks and weeks to reply and then tell you have to provide the receipt and all your card information again. It’s a total scam. They shouldn’t even be in business.

I have been trying to get a key for weeks now that will work on my car. The key that was sent did not unlock the doors (but started the engine). Many phone calls later, I receive a rude call back and MORE steps to just return the key. So I ultimately have no working car key and MORE to-dos. Terrible experience and would not recommend getting a car key through Minute Key. 0/10.

The key does not work and they have not replaced or refunded. Worst service ever!

Very misleading. Yeah 30 minutes to program but then takes 1-2 weeks to have someone come out there. And not even where your car is at. I’m over here thinking they’ll drive to you. No they’ll drive to a home depot.

I ordered a key from Minute Key at one of the home depot kiosks. It said that it would have to ship the key to me since it wasn't in stock at the store. Around 3 days later, I received an email with a tracking number saying that the key had been shipped. The tracking number didn't work and didn't take me to a website. I am now at almost a month without the key being delivered. I have reached out to Minutekey.com three times without a response, and I have mail tracking, so I know the emails were received and read. I called them also without a response. They have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have had to submit a chargeback on my debit card with my bank since they won't respond to any communication. HORRIBLE COMPANY! I don't know why Lowes and Home Depot would even let these kiosks be in their stores.

Key doesn't work I wish I had known how poor this service is before I used it. Neither of the duplicate keys that the machine cut are actually functioning, and I can't get any response from customer service (I've tried via their online contact form and calling, which only allows you to leave a voice mail, you can't talk to a representative). Given that, this service comes off as a complete scam, they're making money on keys that don't work and ignoring the refund requests. In store they gave the 1-800 number—the stores where the machines are located can't help.
