Chania airport, August 2025
I recently rented a car from Minoas Rentals at Chania, and overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. The staff were helpful and did not pressure me into taking out extra insurance. The only drawback was that the rental office is about a 500m walk from the airport arrivals. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting — especially if you’re travelling with heavy luggage on a hot day. It would be better if they had some sort of on-demand mini-bus transfer service that ran between the airport and the office. All in all, if you’re looking for competitive pricing and a decent selection of cars, then I’d definitely recommend giving Minoas Rentals a try. Just be prepared for the short stroll after landing.
