This is a great initiative offered by Mining Syndicate for people new to the space to learn about mining Bitcoin. Very transparent, intuitive, and user friendly so you know exactly how the miner is performing. If you've always wanted to mine your own sats but didn't know where to start, or thought "it's way too expensive," then split share mining is the ideal introduction.

The Split Shares offering by Mining Syndicate gives Bitcoiners who want “direct” exposure into bitcoin mining by selling fractional shares of individual miners who share the cost of the miner itself, power consumption, and hosting with other shareholders. It provides real-time data of hash rates, power consumption, and bitcoin earned after costs. This is a great learning experience for novice miners and/or bitcoiners who don’t want to deal with the complete overhead of hosting a physical miner (or a rig of miners). Great concept and personal experience so far.

I was given a split share as an introduction to mining and it was a great experience. The rewards were paid out daily and the cost along with the profit were very transparent. If you want to mine without managing th3 heat and power consumption at home this is an awesome alternative.
