MinehutReviews of minehut.com

it fine but all there really is to worry about is the lag and to save your world offen (i wouldnt recommend using the free service for your entire server forever)

this server hoster is just too laggy. I try and play survival with 4-5 people and it freezes and rubber bands everyone, every. few. seconds. you cant even play survival without everything freezing and killing you while you cant even see whats going on. overall its a garbage server hoster that runs on 2001 office pcs.

Too challenging to create server for existing world played previously on LAN without deleting all or most of the progress made on world, no help provided. The site claims that everything is easy while not in any way providing the support to make the process of starting a server easy in the slightest

Not that many features in the free version: Not allowed to access server.properties Only allow up to 10 plugins says startup time is instant but takes some time ads laggy not good overall

I've been using this host for about 4 years and I'm happy to be in this community. This community sometimes has been a little toxic, but most of my time in Minehut have been pretty well. Contrary to popular belief, Minehut do actually listen to their community & players and it's clearly visible. In the Minehut Meta Discord, they allow you to make ideas and stuff for Minehut and it's great! I don't regret being in this community at all. It's been a long time since I joined and I'm still here, so that says something. Minehut is quite good for a singleplayer host, if you just want to play with a couple friends. I don't recommend using it if you want to grow a proper minigame-like server. Minehut's not for that, Minehut is just so if you want to, you can host a small server with some of your friends and mess around with plugins and stuff and they allow you to do this due to being a free host, although there is upgrades you can make to your server with the currency of 'credits' which you can vote in-game for 25 credits each day, or you can buy them.

Minehut as a free service isn't terrible, but the lag is unbearable. Your minecraft worlds aren't safe from the lag, and it can roll back data and not save. Recently just lost a whole day of progress. If they could just fix the lag and optimize world saving, than maybe it would be better.

Minehut used to be better but ever since they updated from 1.12.2 it has been very laggy. I wish they added a option to go back to old versions. There have also been 2 times that all servers have been deleted. How this is the second biggest minecraft server i have no idea. Please just pay pebblehost like 1$ a month for a server. You will get way better support & performace. Also they added a 10 plugin limit & if you are over it you can't start your server. Even if it is a old server that used to have more on. Its ludicrous Response to there response. How can you be looking at adding more plugin spaces when they were there before. Can't you just change the number.

So far, Minehuts pretty trashy. The lag is unreal and almost every second day theres something happening that doesn't allow any of my friends or I to access (sometimes even activate) the server. I spent countless hours working on a world hosted by Minehut for free but I now realize that was a huge mistake. I can't even begin to count the amount of times my servers crashed unexpectedly, lagged to the point where all the players time out or just wouldn't activate because of Minehut's horrible service. Can't even download my world to switch to aternos. It's forever locked within Minehut because of their trash downloader. I understand the plugin limit but not allowing anyone to upload their own .jar files is just obscene.
