Do not use at all costs! I had a world with about 9 of my friends and we had many issuses like world getting deleted and then coming back and always lagging. You cant even download your world so you cant switch host. Woke up today with the world being in ruins all chunks moved. Very bad host lost weeks of progress.

Minehut may be free and offer paid options for upgrades, but even with these upgrades Minehut fails to deliver with its glitches and rollbacks which can cost players hours of work. On their site Minehut will say that you have 2 free servers, up to 500 players, and instant startup time. However, to have more than 10 players you need to pay, and startup time is never without an uncomfortable wait. The function of being able to download your world as a backup is completely broken given their reliance on a third-party source which no longer allows for free downloading of files about 100mb, which is arguably any world worth keeping a backup of. Attempts to resolve this issue have been supposedly ongoing for months with no resolution in sight. The best that support can offer is that they're working on a different method, but it remains, unfortunately, that Minehut is not as convenient as it looks at first glance.

Horrible experience, super glitchy, sometimes you lose all progress and the game keeps crashing. They need to fix all of the bugs and glitches.

They may be laggy for some, but On Meta they will listen to Improvements. So get a Github/Discord and Suggest Changes.

The server is good and the hosting is too. My only problem is that the mods act like they’re so much better than the players especially CyberRyan I’ve noticed, and are also kinda rude. If you’re going to play here, don’t speak in the lobbies and discord or you may just end up muted.

Minehut is honestly a good server, For completely free you can get 10 players and around 15 plugins. The servers are ddos protected and everything. The think I dislike is how it used to be unlimited plugins but they added a huge price to that so for small servers with no money 15 plugins is max. I understand they need to make money to run the servers, but why so high. Overall, Minehut rarely lags on Player Servers, it only lags in the lobby. Overall 4/5 stars from me.
