Miko Robot USAReviews of miko.ai

4 years since backed their project on KickStarter and still haven't received anything. They won’t even reply to the comments/emails as it’s clearly a scam at this stage. You’re giving no other choice but to choose your toy robot. Either send me the chessboard like expected or refund me.

This company should not be trusted with anyone's money.

Initially I bought a square off chessboard on kickstarter. Waiting for 4 years now - and no delivery, no refund. Now they started offering us this robot toy in exchange if we step back from the chess board...

I would echo the experience of other customers they have acquired since taking over SquareOff. They don't reply to customer service emails and haven't delivered a product which is now years late. There most recent masterpiece is to offer a toy robot as a viable alternative to a chess computer. Utter rubbish and frankly anybody who gets involved with them would be better off burning their money - at least you would get some warmth from it. Miko - you have one viable option to even hope to safe your, frankly, ruined reputation - apologise unreservedly for the shambles which is SquareOff and then deliver the product or refund people in full. If you work for Miko then I would start looking for another employer - companies which behave like this go "pop" at very short notice and you'll be stuffed.

I ordered the Miko 3 along with the Miko Max subscription. Delivery took weeks longer than it was suppose to, I also never received anything for the Miko Max subscription. When I contacted customer service I could barely understand the man on the phone, I asked to be transferred to someone so I could understand, I was denied. Through the broke English I was able to understand that since I didn’t get my subscription I could REPURCHASE it. They did not offer a refund, they did not offer to send me the information I needed for the subscription. When I asked to speak yet again with a supervisor I was left with “they will tell you the same information” from that point I said it wasn’t good enough and that these products are not cheap. I asked again for the supervisor and was told I would get a call back from one. I wouldn’t waste my money on anymore products from them and I am on the process to figure out how to return the whole thing and get a refund…. If I’m ever able to get in touch with them.

I feel compelled to share my experience with Miko on this platform to help inform potential customers. My journey as a backer of their Square Off product has been marked by a series of unfulfilled promises and extensive delays, leading to significant disappointment. Post the acquisition of Square Off by MIKO, the quality of communication drastically declined. My inquiries and concerns were often met with minimal or no response, leaving me in a state of uncertainty about my order. Promised delivery dates were consistently delayed, with no clear indication of when the product would be fulfilled. While the concept of their products may seem promising, the lack of reliability and accountability from Miko is concerning. Customer trust and satisfaction, which should be paramount for any company, appear to be low on their list of priorities. I urge potential buyers to consider these experiences seriously. It's vital to support companies that not only offer innovative products but also uphold a high standard of customer service and integrity. Unfortunately, my experience with Miko suggests that they fall short in these essential areas.

They purchased the company running the indegogo campaign for a chessboard swap neo, I never received my pledge (was supposed to be delivered 2020) nor does the company reply to their emails. The company is total bull$#!+

I backed MIKO's Square Off project with high hopes, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. Despite initial assurances of a prompt delivery, my order has faced multiple delays. The most recent communication promised a shipment by April 30, 2024, which is far beyond reasonable. The acquisition of Square Off by MIKO seems to have led to a significant breakdown in communication. My attempts to reach out for updates were met with silence until the recent email, which only extended the wait. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I've lost all trust in MIKO and have decided to request a refund. It's disheartening to see a company fail to uphold its commitments to its backers.I hope this review serves as a caution to potential customers. Be wary of the promises made by MIKO, as my experience suggests they may not be met.
