Hi Kathleen, Thanks for being a Mighty Fix subscriber! We're happy to hear you've been enjoying your Fix items! We are always looking for environmentally friendly packaging, so we appreciate your feedback. We actually have someone on our team who is exclusively working on finding the best packaging solutions available. As you already know, it is quite difficult to avoid plastics although that is what we are working towards! All of the packaging materials we use come from post-consumer recycled materials and are recyclable. We try to reuse as much of our incoming packaging as repurposed materials for outgoing shipments (paper, wraps, boxes, etc.) For Mighty Fixes, we use poly mailers, padded paper envelopes, and cardboard boxes. Fortunately, the poly bags we currently use can be recycled, but may need to be dropped off at a pickup location.
