MidwayUSAReviews of midwayusa.com

Good prices and fast shipping. But beware! Do NOT order heavy items with fragile items. They will be shipped loosely together, with a small wad of paper. This has happened to me numerous times! I have actually received 100 bullets scattered loosely in the shipping box, along with a scope, also in a damaged box. Also, do NOT order too many items at once. They will be literally thrown in an oversized box with a small wad of paper. Cabela's has similar selection, price, and much better free shipping terms. And, items are shipped properly!

I have not had any issues with midway other than their shipping. Place an order and and it takes 12+ hrs until a shipping label is created. They then claim that it shipped but it takes another 24 hrs until ups receives the package. And yet they claim less than half an hour from order to the truck?

Midway seems to have did a decent job shipping my items. The problem I have is they offer/represent Extend shipping insurance. I paid $40 due to the high value of my items. This is a joke. I am still arguing with them to cover my shipment. These were Christmas gifts now my money is tied up/ no gifts and not likely to get refunded or settled by Christmas. I will use Amazon in the future as they would replace the items or refund my money. Now I get to tell my son his items were lost with no money to buy more.

Ordered two items of the same thing. Only one was shipped. Reached out to midway USA about two weeks ago. Their site say response in 24 hrs. Have not heard from them. Reached out agin two days ago. Nothing. Also disappointed by their long shipping times. It’s time to purchase somewhere else. Added: I sent a email to midway USA service to close my account. Got a message to try again some time as there was a system issue! It figures! Edit: midway sent me a shipment notice for the missing item. Stated that they sent me emails that I can’t find. Better late than never. Updated scor to reflect closure. Lack of communication is still troubling

I have been ordering from Midway for over 30 years. This last time I specifically bought another reloading press that was on sale and was listed with free shipping. At the last minute in the cart checkout the free shipping was gone and even the tax went up about .80 cents. Now wait a minute....how does tax increase from before when it was first calculated. Why does it continue to say "ships free" until the final step submitting your order then they zap you for another $10. I went ahead with the purchase because it was a really good price. The "bait and switch" "scamming" part I am going to have to watch more closely in the future. I won't put up with or tolerate buying from a company that plays games with my secure cards and order totals.

I paid $9 for standard shipping so my hat would come within a week, but ended up taking 2 weeks. I called, and customer service was great, and the hat came the next day

Great selection and prices, but can't always depend on listing accuracy, and I have received items in less than new condition (mangled zipper on a Boyd case, snap caps already scratched up). Customer service has been hit or miss resolving problems.
