I had a truly appalling experience with MidwayUSA. I purchased pants through their website that were drop shipped from a supplier. When I needed to return them, MidwayUSA flat-out refused, claiming their supplier wouldn’t take them back. This made absolutely no sense because I had successfully returned a previous pair of the exact same pants without issue. To make matters worse, when I escalated to a manager (Megan), she offered zero help, no alternative solutions, and showed absolutely no customer service skills. The dismissive attitude was shocking and completely unprofessional. For a company of this size, it is unacceptable to hide behind a supplier and refuse to stand by the products they sell. Customers deserve consistency, accountability, and at the very least, basic courtesy. Instead, MidwayUSA made it clear they value protecting their supplier’s policies over taking care of the people who spend their money with them. I will never shop here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before doing business with MidwayUSA.

The customer service is a joke they can not do anything about your order! The check out is confusing at best! They charge you shipping on back orders even though you paid it on the origanal order, I have never had a company do that period! The web sit would not let me use my $20 coupon on an order of $19.36?

They wouldn't refund me because my original credit card had been cancelled due to fraud. They said they needed to charge my card $1 before they could refund me but that's impossible. Store credit was the only other option. SCAM

7-29-2025 Bought 1000 rnds of winchester ammo from Midwayusa and it looks like its been sitting in grandpa’s musty basement for 50years. I opened the package right away, took pictures and sent,and informed them of the situation. Customer service told me they will do NOTHING about it. Nothing. I am more than pissed and disgusted. I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from this shady company ever again.

Tried to order 6 items couldn't find my account. Said wrong password and or account which is bullcrap the same account and password was on my phone, on hold for over 40 minutes. Will not order from them again.Harry Potterfield your company has went to hell!!!

For many years MidwayUSA was a reliable store with mediocre prices but good policies, now they have gone downhill significantly under new management. All of these recent negative reviews are the consequences of new policies and new leaders taking things in the wrong direction. My most recent order for some expensive PRS parts arrived banged up due to a being shipped along with heavy items (ammo cans) in a paper thin shipping box. Only to later discover they also sent me used/returned items that were missing key hardware pieces. Now I can either find the missing parts I need elsewhere to finish the project or deal with the return policy. Really shameful stuff for any retailer but even more so considering I have spent thousands, maybe 10k or more at this establishment over the last 10 years. Take your money to Brownells!

Mudwayusa falsely advertised a Wilson combat pistol as having “bulletproof” safeties when this version has CAST parts. Confirmed in writing by Wilson combat. I purchased a brand new WC classic 1911 from midway last week. I got it home and was swapping out the grips to keep the OEM grips nice when I noticed that the fit of the two safeties is just terrible. The thumb safety was blended too much and when it is in the up position the hole underneath is exposed. The grip safety is just a mess with a huge uneven gap on the right side and slim gap but rounded corner on the left. The grip safety can be wobbled back and forth quite a bit due to the gap. I emailed WC and was told that the safeties on this model fit poorly because they are cast. I then called and spoke to "customer service" for 55 minutes and got nowhere but was told over and over that if I didn't want cast parts I shouldn't have bought this gun but a different model. I pointed out that nowhere in the description does it say it had cast parts. Wilson combat said I could send it in to be fixed but I would have to pay for the custom work. After 55 minutes of arguing they agreed to send me a single sided CAST thumb safety which should cover the hole but I have to install it myself. They wouldn't do anything about the grip safety other than to tell me that's just how they are cast. MidwayUSA was equally unhelpful and refused to do anything even after acknowledging that their website had false information on it claiming that it had “bulletproof” safeties when they are cast I will be seeking a remedy through my credit card.

Placed a few orders this morning with over 125 items between the orders. Received an email back that some items were priced incorrectly and they cannot just delete the misplaced items and therefore cancelled all my orders. So upset and tired of big stores doing crap like this when I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars there over the years. NEVER order from this company!!!!!!!!
