I used to be an employee at the Niagara Falls Midas at 6910 Lundy's Ln. I've been less stressed out ever since I quit. The owners treated us unfairly and they overcharge jobs for much more than they need. Someone I knew was quoted nearly $3000 for brake pads and rotors. (By the way, they do the job the same way as the shop that does it cheaper.) Some of the technicians were inexperienced and majorly breaking customer vehicles was common

I brought my son’s car in to get the state inspection and I was told it needed work to pass. I approved the work to be done at Midas. One week later. My son is driving the car home and when he applied the brakes they did not work as expected and he heard a loud grinding noise and he struggled to get the car off the main road. He struggled and got the car off the road. The following day we took the car to Franklin Auto via AAA. They immediately noticed that that issue stemmed from bad brake work. They asked when we had the brakes done… I said the prior week. They said it looked like the tech did not tighten and torque the bolts properly. As part of this his wheel was damaged. I told them repair the work Midas work as I did not trust Midas to fix their poor work but document everything and take photos. They did. BTW, they also found the brakes on the other side were not torqued properly as well. They send the car out with a bad and unsafe brake job as part of a PA Inspection. Then only offered to give us a small portion of what we paid to get the car fixed and re-fixed. We should not have to pay anything for incompetent and unsafe work that it my son and others at risk. My son’s car was sent out as inspected but more unsafe when it left Midas than when it entered. Not only was my son’s life in danger so was everyone around him. Failure to do so they should lose their license to do repairs and corporate Midas should also not be allowed to operate in the state of Pennsylvania for unsafe business practices. Corporate Midas was useless and did not encourage the local franchise to do the right thing.

I have been a long time customer of Midas. As of today I will not return. They over charged me to replace my brakes, and quoted me a price in which they didn't honor. They did not give me a break down as to why my brakes cost so much. He stated it was located on the right hand side of the invoice. I Called dealer ship to have a price quote and it was $500 less. I feel ripped off....Please shop around before taking your car here....

Midas Narbonne février 2024, je fais faire un devis, pour changement disques, plaquettes et un étrier, on m annonce la gratuité des plaquettes de freins . A la prise en compte du véhicule la facture est moins chère que le devis car l étrier n' a pas été changé donc je paye, je demande la facture, on me répond impossible de l'avoir, vous la recevrez par mail demain et quelle fut pas ma surprise de voir les plaquettes de freins facturées. Je reviens le lendemain à l'enseigne, on me propose un avoir mais je ne suis pas de la région et pas intéressé, j'ai écris à Midas France pas de réponse après 2 mois.

I have to tell the story Shoppers beware my friend has spend getting her winter and summer Tires changed at Midas for at least the Last 5 Years last year when she went to get her summer tires put on Midas did an inspection of her car and said she needed brakes the quote was outrageous price so she shopped around again this year she went to have her summer tires installed they made an appointment for her when she arrived at the appointment time she sat there for 2 hours they gave her a list of things that were going wrong with her car the person on the courtesy counter try to force a hard sale to get the car repaired estimate $1,300 worth the work she said No at that time and then they told her they could not find her summer Tires when they did find them we elected to pick them up and have them installed by someone else after picking them up one of the tires were flat can't prove anything but when the summer Tires were taken off in the fall they were in good shape that is the Midas store on Gardners Road Kingston Ontario

I went to midas on lundy's lane in Niagara Falls Ontario canada to have my rims(tires already on rims) switch from winter to summers. I was told they can't do it now. One guy was working on a car and 3 others doing absolutely nothing. Will never go back not even to put a valve stem cap on. I guess midas has a lot of money and don't really need the business.

I got a flat tire took my car to midas, i asked to replace flat tire they told me they wouldn't change tire unless i bought 4 tire they made up story about my tires where not legal to be on the road , i was left sitting in the parking lot unless i followed their directive of buying 4 new tires, i had to drive to tire store down the road which replaced my flat tire, they tired to intimated a senior citizen to spend what they wanted
