I took my X5 to Midas in 13683 104 Ave, Surrey, BC in Jun for DriveTrain Malfunction. I told them that I just replaced all the ignition and coil plugs recently and wanted them to do the diagnostic check. I waited for around two hours and they informed me that I would need another smoke test because they believe that there was a gasket leak. I asked them it was not the coil or spark plugs that cause the problem and how much for the smoke test. They told me it was not the coil and spark plugs and the smoke test was almost $200(if I remember correctly). I refused for the smoke test and probably brough my car back another day. I decided to take my X5 to another shop and paid them to do the smoke test. The test came out that there was no leaking in the gasket and I let them do the diagnostic test. They did the scanning and found out the spark plugs #2 and #8 were bad and replaced them. That solved the DriveTrain Malfunction. I'm not really sure if the staff from the Midas shop were inexperience, or because they ignore to scan and check the coil plugs when they did the diagnostic test and did not know that the culprit that caused the DriveTrain Malfunction was the bad ignition coils. If they did the job properly, I would pay for only around $500 for both the test and replacing the bad plugs. Instead, I had to pay Midas's diagnostic test, paid the other shop smoke test and then diagnostic test for a second time just to fix two bad spark plugs. I will never bring my car back to Midas in the Whalley area.

scheduled an appointment at Midas East Windsor NJ for an oil change through CARADVISE. After starting the job, they told me that the oil pan has no threads left and the drain plug will not tighten . I was wondering what they did when they opened it so that could happened. They wanted to charge me over $500 for labor and part, including a tire rotation I did not ask for. I ended up towing my car to another shop where they fixed it for $150. Under my point of view, they are not professionals. They just want the money, both Midas and CarAdvise since none of them would take responsibility on the damage.

Against my better judgment I went for Midas special price 79.99 for oil change and tire rotation. The rotation is what I went for. When I pick up my vehicle and pay. Then I find out no tire rotation done. Have rusty lug nuts on my FJ Cruiser. Charge $109.00. So much for that. My car takes 6.5 litres of oil opposed to 5 litres. Never going back

ATTENTION ARNAQUE -J’ai déposé ma voiture dans ce centre pour un changement de batterie. -On m’a fait signer un devis pour une batterie haut de gamme de type AGM avec une capacité de 80Ah, 376€ quand même … - je n’ai aucune nouvelle pendant 2 jours, impossible de les contacter par téléphone, ils ne répondent ni aux mails ni aux appels car ils n’ont pas le temps… puis je reçois un sms m’indiquant que ma voiture est prête. -Je retrouve 2 impacts sur la portière (les voitures sont garées sur le parking picard juste à côté qui dispose de minuscules places, les impacts sont donc inévitables). - Lorsque j’ouvre le capot pour vérifier la batterie, je constate qu’ils n’ont pas monté la batterie présente sur la facture/devis mais une batterie bas de gamme de type EFB (moins bien qu’une AGM) et de capacité 72Ah (moins de capacité). Je fais donc remonter le problème au garage évoquant le fait que j’ai payé pour un batterie haut de gamme et que l’on m’a monté une batterie bas de gamme. Ceux-ci ne s’excusent pas et ne me donnent pas la raison de ce « loupé »… ils ne doivent pas être habitués aux gens qui vérifient … combien de personnes se font avoir ? -celui ci me rembourse 1€, soit disant la différence de prix entre la batterie entrée de gamme et la batterie haut de gamme alors que l’on se situe plutôt sur un prix qui varie du simple au double … -j’ai contacté le service client qui m’a dit ne rien pouvoir faire car le centre est indépendant. -C’est donc ce que l’on appelle une belle arnaque et je me suis fait avoir … -un conseil si vous ne voulez pas vivre la même expérience que moi, fuyez !!

Midas in lake worth does not care aboyt the customer. Itctook 4 days to get a replacement tire under Midas warrantee.Finally got the ture snd tje pressure waszs was set at 20 lbs. Should be 35 lbs .Called to tell manager said will check eith teck.that I was wrong.The pressure was set properly. I set it at home because Ted didn't care. Midas at military is very poor. I must re. consider my choises for car care. Very sad

Factuur klopt niet met hogere prijs van offerte, zonder verdere uitleg. Vele controle punten, zoals vermeld in offerte ,werden niet nagekeken op factuur F5016 2025 1537. Midas en hun hoofdbureau antwoorden NIET op mijn vraag hierover. Dus jullie als garage die de werken uitvoert en facturen opmaakt, kunnen -willen hierover NIET antwoorden ?Midas klantenservice antwoord met jullie antwoord dat ze het hebben doorgegeven aan Midas Mechelen!?Na 14 dagen wordt er gewoon niet verder gereageerd. Een garage onwaardig. 1 ster is teveel.

Replacing a broken trunk cable cost me $360.49—$106.99 for the part and $253.50 for labor. A brand-new truck cable costs less than $20 on Amazon. Never doing business with Midas again!
