Horrible experience at Midas Colwood Victoria store. Needed one sway bar link replaced, they told me both had to be. Not their policy or any other mechanic's to replace both because one is broken, and these were only 1 year old. They lied and said both had to be replaced but when I took them to another Midas store in another town they showed me only one was broken. Called headquarters, called store, no one returned my call. Deliberately lied about what needed repairs. Go somewhere else, that has more respect for their clients and themselves. Deliberate bad behaviour doesn't even deserve a rating of 1

I went into the Midas at 11411 west Colfax ave. in Lakewood co. to get my sunroof fixed, instead they replaced all for brake rotors, calipers, pads, power steering pump, rack and pinion all of which I didn't need. They didn't give a written estimate, nor did they get written approval which is required by law. They didn't even tell me they were doing the work, they kept giving me this song and dance that they had to take off the whole subframe (which is under the front end nowhere near the sunroof) and it was 16 hour job, I looked it up on the internet and it said it was 60-to-90-minute job to replace the sensor 30 minutes to close it with a Allen wrench or 30 seconds to reset it with the key, which I'm sure they did because when I disputed it on my credit card they sent a invoice saying I declined the sunroof repair and the switch that I bought at the auto parts store. I pulled my carfax yesterday and it said the brakes and rotors were replaced at 128000 miles and the car only had 144000 miles. Rotors do not go bad in 16000 miles. To sum it up they charged $5200 for work I didn't need. Now I'm facing bankruptcy. Thanks Midas. won't buy water from them if my penis is on fire!

If could’ve chosen a minus 10 I would have. I was going to the Kingsway Midas for over 10 years. The last three years I was a customer there it seemed I needed brakes every year and rotors. I called another business and they said that seems odd that should not be the case so I brought my car to them and that was two years ago. I’ve not needed anything done to my brakes nor do I need my rotors replaced when I go to see them. So I went to the Midas location to discuss the situation and the guy just lost it. His name was Edwin and he was rude and wow he swore at me!! He basically told me I was a liar and I didn’t know what I was talking about. Is it because I’m a woman? Possibly, doesn’t really matter it was beyond unprofessional. I was actually upset and almost started crying. My hands were shaking. I couldn’t believe I was being treated that way by a business that I had been loyal to for 10 years. Then I called Head Office and spoke with a gentleman who sounded all concerned. …. Well that was all fake because I’ve not heard anything. Whatever you do. Do not use Midas take a look at all the reviews on all the different platforms and you will see that I’m not the only one

I brought 4 Hankook tries with the extra roadside hazard coverage at the Midas on Route 9 in Woodbridge NJ in Nov 2023 (Mike was the salesman then and he was a great sales rep) and the tires purchased were rated for 50k miles…. In Nov 2025 Midas wouldn’t honor patching one of the tires because they said the tread was too low on one tire although we put less than 30k on those in the 2 years. They were pushing for me to spend $1100 on new tires instead of simple patching. I decided to just buy new tires else were for $750…. I rather avoid dealing with a dishonest company that encourage their employees to push new tire sales when they aren’t necessary. I encourage everyone to shop around as there’s a ton of alternatives within a 3 mile radius that have better sales practices and actually honor their road side hazard warranty.

Last time I went to Midas in Haverstraw, it was a good experience. Was taken, without appointment, for a car inspection. Service was quick and accommodating. Now that my wife needed her car inspected I decided to go there again. This time, even though they had no business going on at the time, I was told to make an appointment for 2 hours later so I did. When I did get it done though, the crook charged me $37 for a $10 inspection. The dummy gave me the wrong receipt and I paid cash so I didn't go back for a refund. Guess it's a weekend thing, but was nothing like when I went their last time. I was just charged $10 that time.

Ik heb mijn wagentje binnen gedaan bij Midas Oostende een volkswagen polo Toen bleek de catalisator stuk te zijn .Ze vroegen me om deze vervangen. Er was een verantwoordelijke van het hoofdkantoor aanwezig die dit aan een goede prijs kon regelen.MAAR probleem op probleem op probleem koste dit me 2400 € voor deze catalisator te plaatsen. Ze verontschuldigen zich voor dit bedrag maar konden niks anders. Wie dit niet geloofd ik heb de bewijzen de factuur van deze herstelling. Schandalig want deze vervangen catalisator van 2400 € is terug stuk 27 november 2025 en ik mag terug naar de garage. Deze werd totaal vervangen op 19/04/2024 Midas Oostende. Bewijs heb ik via mijn factuur van deze herstelling. Nu ga ik eerst nog langs bij Midas Oostende om klacht in te dienen....... het vervolg 28nov 2025.. het is langer dan een jaar tussen deze 2 werken en ook is nu het btw nummer veranderd van Midas garage Oostende en een nieuwe eigenaar / verantwoordelijke van deze garage??hij zegt er niks meer mee te maken te willen hebben???? Tja daar sta je dan .. dankuwel MIDAS tot nooit meer. En 2400€ armer en autootje terug kapot. Jammer dat je niemand kan vertrouwen of op hulp kan rekenen.

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars! My virtually brand new Buick Envision went in for an oil change. A little over a week later it stopped working. The issue discovered was brake fluid in the engine. An analysis was ran of the fluid by my insurance company. This error ruined my engine and I was informed I need a new engine. My vehicle was serviced there last and not a soul had done any maintenance on it after them. Called Midas and I will say the people who work in the store were nice. The regional Adam West was rude and condescending. Do not bring your car there unless you have money to blow on a new engine!

I had called this company about a Check engine light on in my vehicle, before I could even finish my sentence 3 seconds into the conversation, the person on the phone was very rude, and dismissive. Straight said nope and wouldn't listen, I would not recommend this place.
