Aging louxor hotel Although very well located and well served by the free shuttles of the MGM groups, this hotel is more than aging. Decrepit elevators, worn carpets, and so on... The rooms (in the tower) although of good size, are not very well maintained. The cleaning staff, very nice by the way, is content to change the towels and make the beds (change of sheets, vacuum cleaner, mop, bathroom cleaning and dust, not done during our entire week of presence) Also be careful, during Check in, the hotel takes a fingerprint of your credit card and then allows itself, during the stay, to withdraw unjustified amounts, or even modified, even before check out... Ditto, at check out: payment of a balance that did not agree with the forecast invoice, agreed during the reservation, addition of 300 dollars unjustified, without invoice or signature on our part that we still paid Then 2 days after we left the hotel, unjustified amounts were taken from the visa card 😞 Staff at the reception not super pleasant (make no effort to speak slowly, articulating with foreigners) and even less listening when you encounter a difficulty Money, money, money Very mixed experience, it really smells like commerce

I didn’t have a good experience here. The room was amazing, so I can recommend that. On day one I was woken early by adjacent rooms slamming their doors for no reason (it wasn’t the person opposite) but two rooms to the left of my room. Then they slammed their doors repeatedly 30 times in a row. On day two, early morning, the same thing happened, so I opened my door to see who was doing it and it was two teenage girls and one ran off down the corridor. I had already reported it to housekeeping by phone. Also had door slamming last night at 11pm. This morning I was woken at 2am by a woman screaming. There was banging and a man shouted at her to shut up, so I rang security cos I was scared for her safety and a man came to check. He was fast. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel ever again. I also got followed around the hotel by a group of men.

My room card was not working so I stood in line at the front desk to have it re-keyed. As I waited an approximately 15 year old kid, possibly of Indian decent was still the desk talking to the clerk. As I waited, I overheard the clerk going back and forth with the teen about needing ID or his parents to give him keys to what sounded like a high rise, more expensive room. After a few moments the clerk went to the back room and eventually returned, giving the MINOR, not one, but FIVE keys to a room with no ID, no parent, no nothing. Apparently the minor was the kid of someone they deemed very important and did not want yo make waves with the parents. However, when I walked up, the clerk asked for my ID after I had given him my name, room number, and he had verified me on the computer. When I reminded him of his earlier actions with the minor and his failure to ID the minor, he became real "sassy" and again demanded my ID, which i showed him because it was the right thing to fo. This incident is a clear example of preferential treatment, but beyond that, I am absolutely sure that providing 5 keys to a minor for him and his friends for Formula 1 weekend, was putting of policy. I report this to a female manager, who basically looked at me like I was crazy instead of acknowledging the issue. I will not post the name if the clerk or supervisor here, but will definitely report this incident to corporate.

I see why these SCUMBAGS have a 1.6 score . If you want to know what it's like to get screwed over twice by the same company, MGM Sportsbook is your case study. A year ago, they completely botched my wagers, ignored me until I had to involve the Better Business Bureau, and only after being pushed into a corner did they "make it right" with a so-called deal: a free 3-night stay, $150 in spending money, and honoring the original wagers they robbed me on. Fast forward to the "make good" trip--what a joke. The digital key didn't work, leaving me stranded like a clown in front of the elevator. The $150 credit? Surprise, it magically didn't work at certain places. Strike two. And then comes the real kicker-MGM dangled a large free play in my account, I played it, I won, and then they pulled the rug out claiming it was a "clerical error." Instead of honoring a win, they stole it back. Imagine a casino saying, "Oops, our bad--you didn't really win." That's fraud, plain and simple. I again involved the Better Business Bureau and even the Gaming Commission, and what was MGM's response? Offer me the exact same insulting package again--and when I rejected it through the BBB, they outright banned me from the premises. This isn't a world-class operation--it's a ham and egg, nickel-and-dime scam shop hiding behind the MGM name. If you think you're playing fair here, you're not. They'll change the rules, void bets, and find any excuse not to pay. Bottom line: MGM Sportsbook doesn't deserve a single shred of your trust or your money.

I had a room booked at Mandalay Bay, which is part of MGM I canceled I couldn’t make the trip I was on 14 September. I called two days. They said you need three days and it was on my Vegas awards. The room was booked and they went ahead and ran my debit card for $156and I said I canceled it. They said well it’s called penalty if you didn’t show up, I said what about my rewards we don’t get back to rewards 100,000 points on my Vegas. You don’t get that either so they’re on my bottom shitless sorry.

We came to Vegas for our 25th wedding anniversary, my 55th b-day and our teenage sons high school graduation. My son and his friend had their own room. On arrival the room had a refrigerator you can't even use, packed with items that are outrageously expensive. So the fridge was useless. The bathroom was filthy. Had dust everywhere, hair in the sink. I included pictures to state my case. Talked to the front desk which took forever. They assured us the cleaning crew would take care of it. Nope, three days later still the same mess. Went to gamble at a blackjack table. One hour to get drink service. I asked the pit boss and he said he had no power to get us someone. This place is a joke, do not stay here!!!
