ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!! Constantly reported a bankruptcy to my credit in error. Like how can you make such an error!!!! Hurt my score over 30pts. Got it resolved, they gave my an increase, and the reported bankruptcy again and closed the card….beyond frustrated!!!!

Terrible Company
This is the worst credit company I have ever dealt with. My mother and I have been card holders for over 3yrs never missed a payment and was never late. They put a fraud alert on our account during vacation. I contacted customer service and they are not only a joke but were rude and disrespectful. Finally after being transferred 5 times got to the fraud department were they advised that from the information they researched was different than what my mother (who was on the phone with me) had given them during the application process. Mind you we have had this account for over 3yrs and no late pymts. They closed the account did not inform us and at one point I was told by the fraud department Superviser (Brayln) that my mother could not br my mother based on the info he had found. Basically calling my 85yr old mother and I liars! Not to mention after I advised searching our pymt history and the account the pymts (3yrs straight) had come from was told those pymts are irrelevannt. Definitely a very shady and disrespectful company. Wish I could give them a -10 star rating. Warning stay away! I will spend my money elswhere at a real company like capital one.

Disappointed by Mercury Credit Card’s Lack of Support and Excessive Fees
I signed up for a Mercury Credit Card in November 2023, initially attracted by the $2,000 credit line. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing, particularly when compared to other financial institutions I’ve dealt with.
In February, my wife and I fell victim to identity fraud, leading to issues with several of our financial accounts. During this tumultuous time, I attempted to manage our finances responsibly, making several advance payments. However, due to my account being locked as a security measure, these payments were returned. This situation led to a cascade of fees, some as high as $33 or more, amounting to over $100 in a very short period.
The real blow came when I received a credit monitoring alert indicating my available credit had been reduced by $2,000, accompanied by an adverse credit notice. To my shock, Mercury had closed my account due to the returned payments, causing my credit score to plummet by 50 points. This was particularly devastating as I have maintained perfect credit for the past decade.
In June 2024, a final payment of $33.27 was automatically scheduled by Mercury. When this payment was returned, I promptly made a new payment, which cleared immediately. Despite this, Mercury charged me yet another fee of $33.27. When I called their customer service, I spent 20 minutes explaining the situation, only to be told that nothing could be done because my account was closed. I escalated the issue to Ms. Lulu, who reiterated that the bank was powerless to reverse the fee, highlighting a blatant disregard for customer care.
In a short period, Mercury accumulated over $133 in fees on my account, seemingly as a revenue grab since I typically pay my balance in full. This experience starkly contrasts with my interactions with Chase, Bank of America, and American Express, where customer service is prioritized, and support is readily available in times of need.
I strongly advise against choosing Mercury Credit Card. Their policies and lack of empathy are appalling. They seem more focused on exploiting their customers rather than providing genuine support. There are many credit card companies that value their customers and offer better service without resorting to such punitive measures.
I hope my experience serves as a cautionary tale. Choose a credit card provider that will stand by you, especially in difficult times. Mercury Credit Card, unfortunately, will not be there for you.

Unable to Request Services Online, Wasting Time
I am unable to order a replacement card on their website, wasting time. They indicate I need to call up their customer service number and I have a cold and am unable to speak easily. In this day and age, something like this should be something that should be able to be done on the website. Most other cards have a more convenient website. If you prefer using the phone to contact your credit card company, they are fine. If you really prefer to do things online, I would suggest using another credit card company.

I had their credit card for a long time…
I had their credit card for a long time everything was great till I had 10 charges put on my credit card that I didn't make for over $500 and the same charges were put on another one of my credit cards. They took it off then they put it back on but my other credit card removed them permanently and I called three times and got a different story from each person I talked to so I realized they never did anything then they kept telling me to wait and they hit me with interest for 2 months on that. So it's really sad I got scammed twice by the people that charged my credit card then they're charging me interest on that same charges and telling me it could take another 90 days so I paid the card off and cancel it and I got a feeling they never did anything to investigate those charges and it's really sad and pathetic and nobody can tell you the truth about charges that I never made

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Ive had this card for 3 orn4 years at this point. And come to find out they changed their policy, WITHOUT NOTIFYING ANYTHING, that they changed to DAILY finance charge. I had the card current and the charges I made in the last week forced a finance charge. 1 charge was only 14 days old. Absolutly rediculous. Do not use this company EVER! There are so many other cards that are better to use then this shady ass company.

Disabled, legally blind, I need my paper statements and they want to charge me, I spoke with them and said they wouldn't but they still are. I'm being punished because I can't sit at a computer.
I have had a card with this company and the company prior to them taking over ,Have 100 % on time payment history with this company ,most of the time paying more than required,Was told that this Company was now going to charge a paper fee, which I called about 3 different times regarding being legally blind,100 total blind in one eye with 35% vision in the other and told the company that I needed paper statements in order to handle my account as I did with all other accounts I have ,None of which had problems about waiving the fee due to my disability being able to read on the computer for long periods.and made an exception for me except this company did not care said they would look into it which is not true,,So my advice to anyone looking for a credit card don't fall for this companys games because as a customer ,they don't care,as a person being disabled they don't not care,Trust me when I say to you Go to Capital One ,American Express,or even Synchrony for that matter all have better people skills and care and will to work with their customers especially after years of loyal on time payments ,I will be looking into a lawyer regarding person with disabilities act about the exception this company was unwilling to waive or work with me yet when i closed the account they are sending my statements now on what i owe with no charge for the paper statements ,so now people you tell me what sense that makes and mightvi addbifvtheyvwould have waived the fee ivwouldbhave left it open I really don't care about this the fee isn't but a couple of dollars but when I startrd this card in 2016 and still had it as of today June 7,2024 never paid a paper statement fee ,you would think that 30% interest rate is more than enough to cover a paper statement .Well to all readimg ,Please take some advice andbdo your research about this Company and Shop around and watch for their sneaky terms and fees ,so just expect extra and I don't mean extra service ,
