After receiving several quotes to transport a 2024 Acura MDX we purchased from a dealer in Texas to our home in West Virginia. I contacted Mercury Auto Transport. Their rates were very reasonable and the their 9K Google review speak for themselves. Most of the other carriers that contacted me with lower rates had horrible reviews. Opting for Mercury was a great choice. Right from the get-go, communication was great. Joe Kelly, Senior Transport Specialist (954) 998-0746 set up a phone call on a Saturday morning, let me know what to expect and how things would proceed. Joe kept me in the loop daily while connecting with a carrier. The process wrapped up just as Joe had laid out without any "surprises". There were no "hidden fees" or last minute increases. Our car was delivered in a very timely manner to the drop off point near our home. I'm not sure if I'll ever need their services again, but if I am ever having a car shipped in the future, the only call I'll make is to Mercury Auto Transport. They have certainly earned their stars with me!

I made a pretty healthy assumption of trying to put in my quote with enough time to get carriers to respond as I knew Mercury is a broker The laps and communication and ultimately the almost $200 difference did not prove worth it I highly recommend contacting a verified courier before you go with any brokers.

I used this company to transport my vehicle from Florida to Connecticut. Initially, they were great to work with—professional and responsive—up until the deposit was received to lock in the pickup date. After that, communication significantly dropped off. I was given a pickup date and told that there were no other customers scheduled for that day, so a morning pickup should be no problem (which was important because I had a flight that afternoon). However, they wouldn’t officially confirm the appointment until two days prior and said they would email me to confirm. That confirmation never came. Starting on Friday, I reached out multiple times via phone, text, and email with no response. On the morning of the scheduled pickup, I finally received a call—only to be told they couldn’t make it that morning and would try for the afternoon. Again, no follow-up communication unless I initiated it. Eventually, I was informed the car wouldn’t be picked up until the following day. By then, I had already left, and a neighbor had to step in and handle the handoff. The initial estimate I was given was $719, which I agreed to when I booked. However, I was later charged $1,000. At that point, I had no other option since it was too late to make other arrangements. I was told the car would be delivered in two days, and someone would reach out 2–4 hours before delivery. We arranged for someone to be available to pay the remaining balance and receive the vehicle. After numerous attempts to confirm the time, we were finally informed—at 4 PM—that delivery would be delayed until the next morning. I feel misled by the polite and reassuring communication at the beginning. Unless you have a very flexible schedule and are okay with paying more than the quoted estimate, I would not recommend this company.

Mercury was a great no hassle experience for one that I was nervous about. Very communicative with timely updates. Easy, painless, no issues! Everyone was friendly and informative.

The first time I used Mercury, I really didn’t know much about the Transport business and I’ve come to find out that they have a highly reputable name in the industry and they just seem to do everything right which keeps me coming back to them. Sometimes I use cover transports and sometimes I use open transport depending upon what car I’m sending but typically I’m sending cars between Florida and California and they’re always on time if not ahead of schedule.
