Have used this product for many years. Have found ways to make it work well, The new design that came out a while ago is not as good as the original and is cheaper to produce. Because it has a FAKE AIR INLET VALVE urine is always in contact with the skin.I can't overcome this problem. Such a shame a great device has taken a backward step due I think to manufacturing costs

I have used these for about a month now and some times they work the way they are supposed to a lot of times I experienced leakage because of urine backflo and the adhesive loosened up I need a stronger adhesive to make them stay on longer than a few hours

Adhesive issues.

I have used the external catheter for about a year combined with a calf catheter bag. Recently have had to go back to diaper because of design deficiency in the vacuum break valve. It does not provide enough air flow to allow the urine to pass freely down the tube. This results in a suction effect on the tip of the penis leaving it engorged at the end of the day. It also leaves the penis tip constantly exposed to urine. These combined effects produce what I can only describe as diaper rash on the penis around the opening. I don't recall the previous valve design giving this much of a problem. My usage of the device has been greatly diminished as a result.

Once a week falls off within 24 hrs. Been spending extra time with all phases of instruction. Have mentioned to staff before sure wish us users had a forum we could compare notes. Nurse is not the answer. Only get repeats of the printed material. Would be great if we're talking to someone is a present user. Wonder if there is even one employee who uses the product. I'm trying now a second faceplate lower for more surface. May end ordering 100 plus. Sure do not plan to go back to pads.

I found that sometimes it leaks and you cannot tell until after it is on and you urinate. It only holds about 8 ounces which is not enough sometimes. My order of 95 catheters (which was supposed to be 30) cam with one bottle of glue release which isn't enough for a month.

Not easy to wear the catheter. Very often it will leak and cause embarrassment. Tear off when get in or get out the cars. Can not wear short pant in the summer. Causes itchy. Can not take shower when wearing catheter. A lot of inconvenience.

Dear Mr. Lee, We are sorry to hear that you had issues with the product. We are continuing to work on improving the quality since the launch of the new version in April 2018. After three years of working on the next generation product, we released a version with a new micro-vent for improved flow and comfort, and a longer tube for easier caregiver application. These revisions were included in our program to onshore jobs and manufactured and assemble the product in the USA. We continue to work on ways to improve the product experience. Please reach out to our nursing team at 1-888-920-9363 or customer service if we can be of any assistance to help you apply the product. Best regards, Customer Service Men's Liberty 1-800-814-3174
