Had it not been for the astronomical prices, this would have been a 5 star review. The restaurant in Thousand Oaks has a good atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed the experience as it kept our kids engaged and conversation flowing. However, the prices are simply not justifiable.

it was good the salad ok but the cheese and the chocolate were very good but a lot of money 120 dollars for two people

Went here for Valentines Day Dinner. Server was great. All of the staff are courteous and friendly. The food and atmosphere are ok. Kind of noisy when the restaurant is full. The biggest downer was, the price of the Valentine meal. There was a preprinted menu with a few choices that we could make. For two adults without additional alcoholic beverages, it came with 1 glass of champagne, was $65 per person. I just don’t think the value for the meal was worth it. I feel The Melting charges too much. I think the only way to eat here is when they have a “special” going on.

Great romantic atmosphere to go to on a date when you are both young and looking to be cute. I'd say it would be perfect for high school dates adn college dates but it is pretty pricey. Portions were small and it took a pain staking amount of time to cook the food, though with the sauces it tasted good. If you are hungry do not go there. Good place to go and kill time and talk
