Once again Meijer has scammed us. Every time we go there something happens. This time and it's not the first time we purchased rotten product. Did not see it at the store, after trying to get good tomatoes. We purchased the three pack beef steak tomatoes, top of them looked fine. Only to get home and find out they are rotten. This is happening at all their stores and they know it. Stores are starting to become run down and dirty. I feel they are price gouging also. Why can't something be done about this. We are probably done shopping are Meijer because they are no longer a trust worthy store. I would give them zero stats if I could. Maybe the should make all the remote workers return because they are only maybe putting in two or four hours a day while working from home and over paid for what they do. Maybe not all but most!!!!!

Meijer needs to RE-OPEN their fitting rooms! How does a store sell clothes if the customers cannot try them on? Not everyone lives close to the store. If the fitting rooms were open more clothing would be sold. COVID IS OVER IT IS TIME TO OPEN THE FITTING ROOMS AGAIN!!!

Before I start my comments, I must say I’ve been shopping at this Meijer for at least 10 years. Meijer on Gratiot Road in Saginaw has turned into a very terrible place to shop. Over the past month or do they have changed to a store that has two persons at checkout. This sounds great, except that the way they pulled this off was by having less checkouts open. Thus there are longer lines than I’ve ever seen. The self-check is also getting bad. Today when I was there checking out (because the regular checkout lines were terrible), there were about 4 lines with red lights. Terrible customer service in my opinion.

The worst delivery app I have ever used. If your card declines for whatever reason (like if paypal is down like it was earlier today) then it cancels the order WITHOUT A NOTIFICATION. No option for a backup card or anything. Not only that, but the delivery experience is inconsistent at best: I have had a steak swapped for ground beef with no text message asking about it. I had an issue where my order kept getting rescheduled because they couldn't find a shopper - my roommate was going to get it but he couldn't because it never showed up until 9am while I was still sleeping and he was gone (late shift). Meijer refunded the order, but it was a huge waste of time. Order status is extremely confusing as well. Why does "Delivery complete" not mean my groceries are on my doorstep? Overall not worth it. Ever. Just go to the store.

They love to harass innocent shoppers based on differences,assumption, race, the way they dress. I have noticed that they have secret shoppers that pop out of nowhere. Employees will try and blame you for stealing and that is very unsafe because they probably really want to do bodily harm/traffic that targeted individual that they have watched like a predator through the entire store. They are doing too much even though cameras are everywhere. It is not worth shopping at the racist establishment called Meijer, online or in store. If anything they are trying to rip off their customers. The Meijer store is very conniving and calculated at most if not all locations I had been to. Meijer will use people of color(various races) to follow and harass some African American shoppers throughout the store and at the checkout if the Whites are not doing it, so they can avoid a lawsuit. They try to put the people of color against each other like African against AA. It is an old and obvious trick however I know the store has been around for a long time but meijer can fail in a short amount of time. Smile

I did a pick up order… I’m vegetarian and my diet is whole food fruit and veggies. Everything in my order was rotten.

This was my 2nd & last bad pickup order experience with Meijer. We will never shop at Meijer again, period. The last attempt, on 2/8/23, was a $298 order at the Canton, Michigan location and was also a mess because they canceled my order right as I pulled in to pick it up; the young lady at the pickup said there was nothing she could do because now my order had just vanished. Okay, but you sent me replacements to approve? Never resolved, no apology, no let me see what we can do, nothing. I have a back injury that hinders walking, so I placed another online order on 5/3/23 to be picked up at 6 pm 5/4/23 at the Livonia Michigan location. I get a text at 10 am saying it’s ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I was working and unable to go that early, which was why I scheduled a 6 pm pickup. At 5 pm, my husband left to pick up our order only to call me saying that the payment was declined. I checked my account, and the charge went through. The store director told my husband there was nothing they could do because that’s not what was showing on their end. He leaves the store and calls me furious, without any of the groceries or a refund of the $263 we spent. They insisted the payment did not go through even when he tried to show them that it had. So I called customer service frantic and spoke with Felicia at first, who was terrific; Felicia confirmed the payment went through and tried to assist to the best of her ability. She then transferred me to another wonderful customer service rep named Pam who was also terrific! She tried to call the store, but just like when I called, they did not answer; she confirmed that the payment did go through, we had been charged, and that they had MARKED THE ORDER AS COMPLETED meaning the charge would not have been reversed. The store made absolutely no effort to correct the issues on either occasion. They just acted like it was not their problem. That was my child’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the week. We are not wealthy and do not have that kind of money to throw away. I wouldn’t recommend Meijer to anyone ever for any reason. They try to rip people off!
