Every single year this company just gets worse and worse and worse and worse Waited on the phone for one hour and 40 minutes for technical support got sick and tired of waiting hung up. It is time for me to get a new insulin pump and it’s definitely time for me to go with a different company. Medtronic is a totally pathetic company ,that could care less about their customers or patients all business just like every other company out there all business all they care about is selling product and that’s it when it comes to maintenance trouble shooting technical support warranty forget it. They stand behind nothing they don’t even have the common courtesy to answer a phone. It’s time to move on to a different company definitely but they’re all the same unfortunately family thing any of these companies care about is money and profit and that is it just like the hospitals, money and profit and that is it

I have used Medtronic insulin pumps for over 20 years, their technology used to be state of the art but now with the 780G series pump I am so disappointed at it’s performance I am totally done with Medtronic. Yesterday I had to change a sensor, the 3rd sensor with a new transmitter the sensor would not connect to the pump, the only way to get the sensor to connect to the pump was to take off a brand new sensor and un pair then re pair my transmitter I had this happen once before with the new transmitter that I remembered what the troubleshooting person said to do and it worked I called them to let them know but I was 18th in line so I waited a few minutes and left a call back number, my home, which I never received. I called back today was 9th in line did the same thing it took over an hour and a half for a call back, I was so frustrated I told the representative I didn’t want to talk about it and I expressed my extreme disappointment with Medtronic’s equipment my reason for sharing this is to warn you they used to be a great company but that is in the past, when you call for product support but have to listen to an ad about the device you already own, this should tell you all you need about this company’s priorities it is definitely profits over patients. I will be asking my Endocrinologist what he would recommend as a replacement the next time I see him, he has expressed disappointment with Medtronic in the past. Do they realize they are playing with peoples health and lives here? I think they are now just a profit center. I hope all the people who use Medtronic equipment have better experiences than I have, but I doubt it. Be careful with your diabetic choices I certainly will be looking for better therapies

La aplicación Carelink Connect ha dejado de funcionar con su última actualización. Da un mensaje que dice que el teléfono está liberado y no va a funcionar en él cuando eso no es cierto, no está rooteado tampoco. Con la anterior actualización sí funcionaba. Además hacen que funcione con versiones anteriores de Android que ya no son seguras. Está a punto de salir la versión 16 de Android y no funciona con la versión 15.

Problemen met het gebruik van de minimed mobile app op Android toestellen; alleen de dure telefoons worden ondersteund en dan nog lang niet allemaal. De USB uploader voor carelink werkt ook nog maar de helft van de tijd en al bij al genomen ben je 2 uur bezig met een upload. Ondersteuning vanuit het team is zwaar bagger en telkens het antwoord; wij kunnen er niks aan doen. Laatste jaar gaat het steeds harder achteruit en wordt de ondersteuning telkens minder, want men geeft aan afhankelijk te zijn van Amerika. Overweeg nu een overstap i.o.m de verpleegkundige naar een ander HCL systeem wat wel de beloftes nakomt!

2 weken een nieuwe pomp, MiniMed 780G. De pomp is geweldig. De sensor in bagger! Medtronic beloofde in de reclame dat iedere nieuwe gebruiker de Simplera zou ontvangen. Ik kreeg de Gardiun4. Dit is voor mij geen doen met aanbrengen. Ik begrijp niet hoe men zo,n systeem op de markt kan brengen. Heb in 2 weken al 5 nieuwe sensoren moeten plaatsen. Steeds vraagt de pomp een nieuwe sensor te plaatsen. Ik heb nog enkele FreeStyle Libre en ga deze nu gebruiken.

This is not the company to deal with. Not interested in your concerns. I spoke with three different people and received 3 different answers. 1 of which was pertaining to my issue and to help me with my problem. I have been dealing with an insulin pump device and just recently it has fallen out of warrenty. So immediately I receive a phone call from Medtronic about this, telling me it is time to purchase a new device. In the mean time I have been dealing with another much needed support with the same device and have never received a call about it. I spoke with an area Manager named Doug and he became very abrupt with me and letting me know it is time to purchase another pump. Not concerned about giving information to correct my pump or resolve how to fix it. My whole life depends on this machine, device to be functional. I have since spoke with a person who works under Doug and she was very responsive and very Helpful. To solve and fix my issues. And the advise she gave me worked... While in the meantime inly thing Doug wanted to do is Get a another Sale. I might also ad that the support team also was on same track as Doug. I called support and for 45 minutes Tina argued with me about new pump. New pump. And after I told her I need support. She then changed her logic and realized I was seriously not interested in buying a new pump. And wanted to offer to check out and she if she could fix my pump. I could go on for hours with this complaint, but I think you get my point.
