I feel like my mock interview with Dr. Katzen wholly prepared me for what to expect during residency interviews. I liked that the interviewer made sure to cover a wide breadth of questions including typical interview questions and behavioral questions. It was helpful to receive critical feedback on each response and to hear from the interviewer on what application committees are looking for. There were approximately 30 minutes dedicated to covering this wide breadth of questions and 30 dedicated minutes to analyze my interview responses. I feel very prepared going forward and would recommend this mock interview service.

The interview preparation was fantastic with Dr. Flick. We first went over any questions I had or any questions I wanted him to ask during the mock interview. Dr. Flick then spent half an hour asking me a plethora of questions. Some were quite tricky but 100% worth it. For the last thirty minutes, he gave me feedback on my responses and strategies I could use to improve my interviewing skills.

My tutor Dominic was excellent. He was very professional, timely, accommodating, and helpful in sharing his own personal resources to help me succeed outside of the standards of medschool coach. I would highly recommend him in the future. He gave excellent strategic advice as well as tips and specific information that was useful but not normally covered in the generic prep materials.

It was great to meet with Dr. Dallara for a mock interview before my residency interviews. She asked me common questions but also some that were challenging. This gave me insight of where I could improve. She also gave advice of what research to do before the interview about the different programs and their respective locations. It was an informative mock interview and I feel better prepared moving forward!

For my first cycle, I signed up with MedSchoolCoach to help me with my secondaries and interview prep and was genuinely amazed on how much my written and verbal responses improved spending time with the amazing advisors. During this process, I met Dr. Blair Nelson which gave me some amazing insight into how to improve personally based on my background and not just general comments. I even was able to follow up with him after my interview and kept him updated throughout the waitlist process. Unfortunately, after not getting in on my first cycle, Dr. Nelson was there to give me some advice and lay a roadmap out for me this cycle to hopefully matriculate next fall. I was uncertain about some areas such as retaking the MCATs or the number of clinical hours but Dr. Nelson has tons of experience and knew what was best and if I had enough and would stand out. Thus, I am thrilled to have Dr. Nelson advise me this cycle and it really showed improvements to my application as I have already gotten an interview request early on in the cycle. Dr. Nelson also is compassionate for the students he advises and does this out of the passion to help train the next generation of physicians. MedSchoolCoach was an amazing choice and advisors like Dr. Nelson can help you get to the end goal of attending any professional school in the medical field!

I really appreciated how thorough Dr. Taniuchi was in the beginning reviewing my application, as well as the questions that he asked that simulated real interviews very well. He provided me with excellent advice going forward in elaborating on my research experiences and providing more patient stories to show rather than tell.
