The course is structured in flexible, self paced modules that fit well for someone with a hectic or changing schedule. We were without power and water for 38 hours, 36 hours the first storm. Now back on track, no burst pipes, a little lost sleep and because we were prepared, like I am usually, for disasters, we were minimally impacted. As a retired chief of police, I was looking to get back into work in the private sector. Although I had extensive training in the past on a wide variety of topics during my career, I wanted to ensure I had the latest training and information available prior to taking a corporate security manager/director position.
