This guy immediately fibs by saying the video you are watching is 3 minutes long and it’s more like 20 and is a tired attempt to use dated sale tactics and click bait to get you to sign up. Me and my mates watched it to laugh seriously. I’m sorry for anyone who falls for this nonsense!

We are very sorry that a video you watched was longer than you had expected! We are glad, however, that at least it made you laugh!

I should have known
Had my free call (this should have warned me) with an 'expert' to discuss strategy.Turned out to be nothing more than a sales call, using tired sales techniques, to sell me mentoring. I was not impressed - amateurish.

Neither the email [email protected], nor the phone number 0795723425 has ever had any touch point with our company. We've been trying to find out more about this alleged reviewer's experience but it doesn't look like this person has ever had any contact with us or a representative of our company.
Additionally, we don't offer "free calls" as this person referenced, so we're quite confused on our end. Perhaps John Obey can give us more information about who specifically he talked to?

Typical multi-level marketing
I made a review in 2021 about my bad experience in 2019. Didn’t take long for them to call out my review fake, trying to get trustpilot to remove it. When I verified it, they hastily jumped to Facebook trying to salvage what was left.
In the end they made me remove it. If you’re wondering why there aren’t many bad reviews they challenge them. Not all can verify to the agree they require. Again, this hopefully puts you on the right track with what company you’re dealing with.
Brings me to today. I still want to have it here because I find their business practice and sales strategi slimy and they’ll do whatever to squeeze you for money (regardless if you make money from their courses)
These guys consider themselves sharkes and if you’re part of the group you’ll see the emoji plenty. If that doesn’t tell you something I don’t know what will.
Backtrack and to the point (go ahead and report it, I’ll verify like last this. I only speak the truth)
July 2019:
I’ve been part of what is called RSD back when I was young and being part of that “cult” defined my early days. Nevertheless Max had my respect and I trusted these guys unconditionally. That’s what happens with role models.
Suddenly Max stopped the dating and starting posting on his Instagram about this new coaching business, showing off a utopian lifestyle he was living and marketing it as something everyone could have. Sure some have it from his program, but you have to get dirty like him in many cases.
To my actual experience. I sign up because I’m curious and it doesn’t take long for one of their sales guys to pitch me. Their approach is
“We need to know if you’re a fit, how much money are you making per month?”.
This felt wrong. Basically they were trying to figure out how much money they could squeeze me for.
Again with the trust for Max, I kept believing this and after the first “qualifying” sales pitch from “x” their sales guy they put me up with “y” who is the “closer”.
He makes a quick run through about my dreams trying to sell it to me. Works the sales pitch and suddenly starts talking about recording. Sure why not. Asks me if I agree to 8000$ program. Without anything I say yeah okay and it takes me 1 minute to realize, wait what is going on?
I say to him let me think about it and “y” goes from friendly to hostile. You’ve just agreed to our program. I have recorded you saying yes. I didn’t sign anything at this point as he was talking about legal stuff before I even started, lol.
So this are the people you are dealing with.
Later I found out some people paid 1200$ for the same program I paid 8000$ for in the group. All depending where you lived. They squeezed you for all they could.
You guys are unethical and I’ll gladly prove it.

The worst experience
To start things off, my review is the only one that’s verified on here, just something to consider…
The worst experience I’ve had with a service/training online. They promise you whatever you want and play nice with you until you make the purchase. It is essentially a video course with a side of Facebook group Q&A. Oh yeah, and no refunds. Hard to make a good decision over a zoom call, Nico will use every pressure tactic to close. I usually don’t fall for these kind of things so very unfortunate that I made the mistake of signing up.
Some terms used like: “don’t you want to make more money”, “these guys all make more money than you”
Wish I had read the Reddit/Medium posts before jumping on the call with them. I don’t understand why some people still use these shady practices.

Not the course as advertised
I took this program and it was a scam. I want to preface the reasons why by saying I trusted Max from his RSD content. Believable and genuine guy. So it's with some disappointment I have to leave such a negative review.
1) The sales calls were by a cold, rude and arrogant intern who acted like me giving them my money was something I needed to justify. Classic role reversal, them being the exclusive club I must qualify myself to be a part of. Either way, the only metric he was interested in was my bank balance. When I asked for more info on the course content he was cagey, bored and impatient. When I stalled, made objections and detailed the stress and importance of such a big monetary investment I was told I needed to meditate more. I was 38 at the time, not a kid who needed unsolicited spiritual advice from a 21-year-old business post-graduate. Anyway, that's an aside. But, a big red flag was the insistence I promise to decide at the end of the call. I insisted I sleep on big money decisions. I was then told in business people make quick decisions every day and that I needed to act more decisively. Again, another tactic to pressure me into handing over my cash. I was not impressed, but with my high opinion of Max built from years of his youtube content, I placed any doubts to one side, hoping for the best.
2) Once on the course, the focus was entirely on manual lead gen and sales, not turning you into a compelling consultant who can deliver true value with conviction and effective presentation. They emphasised that shallow knowledge was all you needed (1-3 steps ahead of the client). "You only need to have read one more book than the client to provide guidance" etc. This felt entirely unethical and was not what I thought a 3000 euro course would be. I used a lot of energy pushing down the feeling of myself being encouraged to be a charlatan preying on weak targets but was drained emotionally by having to fight my better instincts. Again, you're told to trust the process.
3) I was CLEARLY not right for the course, being someone who had no clear idea for a consultancy niche and what skills I did have the team could not mentor me towards one that made any practical sense. Yet, I was told to focus on Business English. But, to who? Where? What market? "That's not a niche. That's a whole industry", I thought. And a very competitive one where I could not charge a premium. This wasn't leading me to the dream life this course was sold on. I repeatedly hit impasse after impasse on the course due to the lack of clarity on the issue but was told to plough on even when the course was inherently linear. "You'll figure out your niche later. You'll niche down as you go"..."Keep going through the modules". This left me languishing, confused and under a severe amount of stress trying to make things work. But, I couldn't even begin to execute. Everything was road blocked. Imagine a golf player trying to hit a ball on a course without a hole, let alone a flag to aim at. Again, I was fobbed off, told to go on group calls and told it will be okay. Still, I could get no straight answer or solid actionable feedback. This can only be explained by the fact that the team were just so young and inexperienced, unable to parlay my skill set into a niche
4) The feedback was extremely hard to come by. Even the Facebook group was useless, oftentimes leaving me having to contact the admin to even allow my questions to be posted. Feedback took 3 days and this was on a course which is both linear and on a 12-week clock. There was no real mentoring, not even of a ratio as low as 1 to 3. Group calls are uncomfortable, long, tedious and you might not get the info you needed to proceed. I did eventually get feedback via DM's but with no clear answers. I was told I had 'mindset issues' and that my choice was viable
5) I was threatened with legal action when I requested to leave the course and keep the remainder of my pay instalments, citing the above reasons. I'd barely gotten a third of the way into the content and saw no way how I was going to make money, or even enjoy the demoralisingly dull grind of traipsing every shadowy Facebook group for victims I'd be selling my non-existent expertise to. The threats were the icing on the cake and so I left, blocked and never looked back. I kept my money.
Now, you can see many good reviews on here. I can't talk to the veracity or the legitimacy of them. All I can tell you is my own experience was very bad. You'll also notice that when you read the negative reviews (which resemble my own experience to a tee) Max calls into question the mental health of the complainant. This is another tactic to delegitimise criticism in the eyes of other consumers. It's rather disgusting in my opinion. These are not therapists or clinical psychologists. They are gaslighting to assuage suspicion of any other potential victims.

Dear James,
I'm really happy we could talk about your experience on the phone the other day. I'm also happy we could end on a positive note and I'm glad you've received your full refund right after our call.
To clarify a couple things you've mentioned:
2) There are actually two full modules on becoming a "compelling consultant" as you put it. Unfortunately you didn't get to these modules yet (having only gone through a third of the way into the content, as you said), but you still have full access to the program videos so if you ever change your mind you can always get that info even though you've received all your money back.
"But, to who? Where? What market? "That's not a niche. That's a whole industry" > you have finished module 3 which helps you roughly find your niche. Modules 4-6 would have then helped us answer these exact questions of "who? Where" and "What market". That is also the reason why we wanted to encourage you to continue with the program so we can niche you down properly.
I understand you've voiced your wish to no longer build your own business on our personal call the other day, but if you ever change your mind, please know that you still have full access to these videos and also my personal phone number, so just give me a ring and I'll be happy to help you out with anything you need.
"You only need to have read one more book than the client to provide guidance" > that's incorrect. It's enough to get free test clients, but of course you should continuously hone your craft as a coach, consultant or service provider. That's not only in your clients' best interest, but also in your business' best interest.
4) Feedback taking more than 3 days is incorrect. We always answer within 24h Monday - Friday. It could be that your question was posted Friday evening in which case you had to wait til Monday morning. We apologize if that has caused you any stress over the weekend. And yes, all posts being posted in the group are first approved by our coaches in order to avoid any spamming and to keep the group clean and respectful to everyone.
5) I was threatened with legal action when I requested to leave the course and keep the remainder of my pay instalments, citing the above reasons > We never threaten with legal actions and never involved any legal actions, as discussed on our phone call and I'm happy we could clarify that when we talked things out.
All in all, I want to thank you very much for the great call we've had and I'm sorry you didn't get the experience you were looking for with building your own business. If you ever decide to get back into starting you have my number and you still have full access to the course, just give us a ring.
Best wishes and stay safe,
Max Tornow

High pressure sales techniques
High pressure sales techniques, cost is £8000 and they threatened me with 'consequences' if I cancelled during the legally allowed cool-off period.
Not surprised that the only good reviews are 'invited' by the company.
Response from Max Tornow CoachingJul 10, 2020
Dear Mr. Greenwood,
We are sorry that you felt threatened by our practices, please understand that this was not our intention at all and a review will be completed so we can improve our processes and procedures.
As you only spoke with our experts on a consultation call, we believe your review rating to be inaccurate considering you aren't even a member of our program.
That being said, should you wish to begin your journey to building a freedom business, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Yours sincerely,
Team Max Tornow.

Same advice over and over with little to no results
Edit 29 Mar 2021
Hello again Max,
First of all, thanks for editing your response so often. This way, Google will see that this page is updated frequently, and it will keep it at the top of the results. Probably with some basic SEO knowledge, you would have known that.
I'm thrilled that you started caring about your customer's satisfaction. If you care so much about my experience with your program, please remove the testimonials I gave you (the videos you just referenced in your edit).
I already notified you and used all the official means to take them down. Keep in mind that it's illegal to use someone's image without their consent, and I retracted my consent via all the possible means. Authorities take a bit longer to move, but I'm trying to save you the embarrassment.
It's not cool to block me on social media to keep using that same image without me knowing.
The videos you posted are lies. I haven't earned that amount of money in revenue. Those were contracts signed which is a massive difference to revenue (cash in the bank). Because of your weird sales techniques, the numbers were a lot lower.
What I can tell, though, is that now I work with some legit marketing and sales consultants. Because of their help, I now hit those numbers consistently, and I have a great team of people to work with me.
I think you should be alarmed that almost 2 years later, I talk to people in your program, and they have the same complaints that I used to have when I worked with you (insults, not enough leads, poor sales advice).
I hope from now on that you'll actually focus more on the quality of your coaching that you offer your clients. That way, you will get more positive reviews, and you won't need to come back here every few months and edit your comment.
Original review:
I encountered several problems through the program:
1. Sales training very brief. There are no real sales strategies. They tell you to ask for the money and keep pushing. If you join the program, you have to learn sales on your own.
2. Lead generation strategies were not working. Besides, "add a call to action to every post" the social media strategies are ineffective and outdated. Even though we had a big following, after turning the existing audience into clients, we struggled to find new ones. Posting to Facebook groups or repeat the same things over and over on social media didn't work.
3. Ads training is a complete joke. People signing up for the consultation calls were not in our target audience, and we ended up wasting lots of money on ineffective ads.
We got no personalized help. Moreover, each time I asked questions or suggested different strategies, I received only insults and got no explanations for why my suggestions were ineffective.
I obtained most of the results due to already having a big following. Afterward, I was unable to generate not even a quarter of the revenue and almost ended months at a loss. The advice received was to "keep doing what we tell you to do".
We had a 12 months 1:1 coaching contract, where they promised me that I'd earn 100k/month consistently. However, Max quit the WhatsApp mentoring group after 9 months despite the written agreement and the promises made. He said he could no longer help me.
