I purchased a $275 fragrance during the…

Order number OR321746 I purchased a $275 fragrance during the black Fri deals with promo codes that were being offered by MaxAroma. I used a gift card that was issued to me from a previous purchase that lowered the price of the $275 bottle. When I received the bottle and tested it on my skin, I wasn’t quite what I expected or wanted. I inquired with MaxAroma support to find a way to resolve the issue with the transaction. I was told to return the item. Once the item was received they would activate the gift card I used. Once they received the item, they told me they wouldn’t honor the return of the gift card I used nor would they honor the two gift cards that were issued with the purchase. Really bad transaction and miscommunication from there customer service. I would have just kept the bottle and sold it myself. MaxAroma removed 1 $70 gift card and 2 $30 gift cards……. Total $130 in gift cards because I returned 1 bottle. Deceptive…..

According to our records, we never promised/mentioned that we're going to revert your gift card that was provided from our Black Friday promotion. If you happen to have some proof of us promising giving this gift card back, please forward it to [email protected]. Store returns or exchanges may cause the award to be delayed or forfeited."" On your order OR321746, we refunded the amount you paid for this order in full. We understand there was a promotion that we were supposed to give you two (2) e-gift cards for your order OR321746, however, if you return this order, we cannot give any gift cards since the transaction was reverted as a refund, again, because you returned the order. Please note that we do not revert any amount from any gift card(s) once it is used, this only applies to a gift card that we provide as part of a promotion. Moreover, we cannot provide a gift card if an order is cancelled/returned. It would be a different scenario if you actually purchased the gift card, if this is the case, then yes, we could revert the amount.
