The length of time it took from signup to getting approved should have been my red flag, unfortunately i was too busy to notice this until i started processing and they have held on to my funds with no reason or communications to me. Do not deal with maverick or startmerchantservices. They are not reliable and have shady dealings when it comes to processing. They will debit you for every batch you process with outrageous fees. You will never get the value for your payments. too high fees and shady modes of processing payments is very bad for small businesses.

Dear Mr. Wymer: Our Risk team recently terminated your merchant account after a review of your processing activity determined that many attempted authorizations were on stolen or fraudulent credit cards. We also found that the sales activity for the successful authorizations does not coincide with the price points listed on your website for cake sales. In addition to the suspicious activity and apparent link to a baked goods type scheme; we immediately began receiving ACH rejects for insufficient funds. At this time, we have no choice but to hold reserves to mitigate the risk that may be caused by disputes and additional rejects. For additional information, please contact Merchant Support.
