Maths Sparx LearningReviews of maths.sparx-learning.com

The state of this website is genuinely horrifying. The constant bookwork checks are completely unnecessary and lengthen the completion time whilst also making the experience ten times more stressful. The rigid, strict ''100% completion'' offers no room for genuine mistakes or for a place to learn. If you're confused on a question, the most you'll be offered is a possibly off-topic video and a ''second chance'' to try again but with different values. It's genuinely this feature that makes sparx as a whole but sparx maths in particular a hundred thousand times more infuriating. I've not seen other homework sites be half as strict as this one, and it's genuinely tragic how someone genuinely thought this would be a good idea. I hate this website with my heart and soul and I hope it gets shut down permanently. It turns a simple homework assignment into a psychological nightmare and gives students a perfectionist mindset and a completionist attitude which is forced on HARD by Sparx. I honestly cannot put into words how much I've heard about this website. I was willing to give it hope, but all of these negative reviews are bloody correct. One star is way too generous considering how absolutely painful it is to even be reminded to do your sparx homework. Just go back to simple pen-and-paper assignments in designated homework books, because even that would be more productive than this AI slop disguised as a homework site.

So im forced to do this every week and i have currently got full 100% completion for the nearly 2 years I've had doing this. I on average get 6-8 questions per section and always 6 sections thats 36-48 on average weekly. I even get 9 questions quite often and hardly less. On top of this because of other homework extra curriculum activities and my free time i often do it on the WEEKEND. So it may save hours for teachers but those hours are over doubled and shared out to all the students while simultaneously shattering a good maths experience. With 100% completion requirements and 0% and 98% getting the same punishment it is really unfair and would not recommend to schools. P.s. i have 2 sections left and its due tomorrow

Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate Sparx since I began to live. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for Sparx at this micro-instant.

This had caused me physical pain please stop this stupid thing from happening

This is the WORST THING EVAH. STUPIDSTUPIDSTUPIDSTUPID SSTTUUPPIIDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sparx maths doesn't help you learn at all. You try your best but the app never lets you off if you get 1 question wrong for you to then just waste your time and constantly keep trying until you get it right. You get random book work checks which is stupid because it means you have to write EVERYTHING down to just risk it being repeated again which also affects your score just because you didn't write something down. In Sparx maths eyes getting one question wrong means you fail entirely but the whole point of learning is to make mistakes. It shows you one stupid video which is either not even close to the question your trying to answer or is an easy version of the harder version you are trying to answer. This causes many teachers to be unhappy with the students because your homework is flagged as not completed even though you just didn't understand one question. One more thing to add is that if you keep getting a question wrong the app asks you to speak to a teacher for some help which got me confused because the whole app's purpose is to help students learn but the app then asks for you to just rely on someone else to help you when it is literally the app's job. Do not use this app unless you want to waste your time because you don't understand a question.

The problem with Sparx Maths is the fact it causes everything to take 3x longer than it should. Why should you need to get 100% completion to be able to submit the homework, which often counts as a detention.

Its so terrible i cryed over an hour i has to to do 125 questions
