Maths Sparx LearningReviews of maths.sparx-learning.com

Could be better, like, why do I have to write every single question I do? Just let me do my homework without suddenly flashing a pop-up of the book mark check, like it kind of distracts me. It also takes sooooooooooo long to complete the homework. Its improved quite a bit after 3 years of using it, but they could still make the videos more helpful and useful, I still can't learn much from the videos, and then after you get the question wrong 3 times, IT GIVES YOU A NEW QUESTION, WITHOUT TEACHING ME MUCH, OR SOMETIMES EVEN NOTHING!!😡💢!!

The update made it very worse and the topics now say “Task 1” “task [number]” and YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE TOPIC IS ABOUT. Also, WHAT IN THE WORLD WHY WOULD YOU NEED FLASHCARDS IN SPARX???!! This website is disappointing.

It’s better than Sparx Science at least. This may sound slightly dumb but as a child I always LOVED having homework, I would actually crash out if they didn’t give us Summer Holidays HW, but since I’d come to Secondary School, homework started to seem like a chore. Sparx being the worst one of them all. I had to survive doing Sparx for years (still am guys!! Just writing this in the holidays (explanation for past tense) I’m almost over with it though. Not long to go now, yippee!!). Maths is okay, but sometimes I’d put it off for so long because I don’t have the time to do it, or I didn’t have enough energy. I’d never forget to do it though, if I did I would get an afterschool. What I found most annoying were the flash card things they added, they are actual poo. I think our teachers wanted to torture us, because, even if we’d completed all our set tasks on Compulsory, we still had to do more work if we’d not spent enough time on Sparx, WHICH SUCKS. So yeah, Sparx Maths ain’t that great. (Just happy they have more retries than Science)…

I feel like Sparx could improve on many things. My main concern is when you get a question wrong 3 times it gives you a new question. Instead, you can choose when you want to switch questions. And the videos don’t have charming voices and don’t even give you the same question that are on the videos. They could at least give a great hint. And also, can you tell me why I have to do 100% of the homework? My parents only had to do 70% of theirs back when paper homework roamed…

its not very good for homework. takes me 3ish hours a week as we have to write everything down. its almost impossible not to use ai and most of my school uses ai which defeats the point. also, the questions are really bad and we sometimes get repitions.

I was feeling generous today so i decided 2 stars but sparx just know you created 3 mental breakdowns and 10 notebooks filled with wrong answers just because of the value of x .... and please sparx make the video match the question instead of having two different topics on each i cant take this no more

OMG this maths website is TERRIBLE. it makes you write stuff in ur book. like this isnt 1888. still its not as bad as reading plus lol.
