Sent off life time guarantee claim 20th August, got a confirmation that they had received it but not had anything back. What's the point of advertising the guarantee if they don't forefill it.

I would NOT recommend this brand! I purchased a brand new pack and I didn’t even use it that long, it still looks new, and the buckles on the 2 back straps snapped in half. They are obviously using cheap materials. But that’s not even the worst of it. I contacted Matein company and the customer service is lousy. Its either completely incompetent or simply lazy and don’t want to do anything. I didn’t ask for a whole new backpack, which I should have, considering where and what the flaw is. Instead, I asked if they could send me a new buckles….something that costs5 cents to make! They are such a terrible company, they wouldn’t even do that! Can you imagine if I had a more pressing issue! I always say, when rating a company, don’t be quick to give them 5 stars for doing what they are supposed to do, which is send item new that YOU paid for….wait until you run into an issue and see how the company handles the issue….then you will accurately know if they are a great company or the absolute worst, like Matein! We all have a short time on earth, 100 yrs or less, and it’s our behavior while here on earth that is used to judge/determine if we spend eternity with Jesus or eternity somewhere else much hotter! I always say follow examples of Jesus, always tell the truth and follow the correct path. Always try and help others when you can and do your job with integrity and honor. These facts come straight from the bible! This company obviously believes in greed, poor customer service and walking the wrong path. Again, we are all judged by our actions here…I ALWAYS treat everyone the same way I would like to be treated…unfortunately not everyone follows the same advice.

Purchased this bag 12/7/25 and it has been used 2 times to hand carry 2 suit jackets. I loved the look of this bag for business travel. The seams are coming apart in two locations as of now, after 2 carries. Looks like the material does not have enough in the seam allowance and frayed out. I hope they are a company that values its customers, if not, STAY AWAY from this brand.

My Granddaughter's backpack came so nicely packaged...The first thing I noticed was how clean the box was...It was undamaged which is rare these days. It was a pleasure to do business with this company. I highly recommend them!!

I'm looking at replacing my EIGHT-year-old Matein backpack bc some of the threads are unraveling and I don't want to end up with a hole or tear. (It's really amazing quality. It probably would keep going and going - and I have lugged it around EVERY day.) I asked nicely about whether there is a warranty, and they offered a nice discount toward an upgrade. They didn't have to do that. My rep, Cathy, replied quickly and was efficient and kind. Thank you, Matein!

Love these bags, I have used them for work for many years now and plan to continue to do so. They keep my food and drinks cold all day long and has tons of extra space for other needs. 10 out of 10 will buy again.

I bought the rolling backpack for my daughter 10 months ago and the quality is great. She loves how roomy it is and that it switches from rolling to being a regular backpack easily. Unfortunately one of the clips started coming unhooked when she was wearing it. I contacted customer support who responded to me very quickly and is providing me with another backpack. I will definitely be buying more Matein products!
