brought a matco maxpro its the worst scanner ive ever owned dealer talked real good about it. its a hunk of junk always needs updates and the vci always have to go to setting and have connection download I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! i brought a thinkcar scanner is better and price is really good. matco you have to pay for everything the tool by itself is enuff

Misleading return policy and poor customer service. Buyer beware. Recommend contacting customer service prior to your purchase to verify whether or not the product can be returned as the website is unclear on what products are excluded, and when a product literally has "Free 30 day Returns" listed under "Add to Cart," this is not always valid.

SCAM . I bought a Matco Max Lite scanner, it NEVER worked. Troubleshooting was never successful. I was told it can’t be refunded. 😡

The absolute worst customer service for any tool company I have ever dealt with in my 40 years of business. Most of their tools are compatible with harbor freight. They do have some good phenumatic tools but not many and getting them covered for warranty can take an act of God. Calling customer service is another waste of breath because they do not return calls or follow up. This once was a decent company back in the 80’s but they have gone to hell. Our tool rep. turned to be completely worthless and lost both trucks over a year ago and we have never got another. Snap On has the best service and the best tools by far there is no comparison.

I bought a brand new tool box from Matco 6 or 7 months ago, the tool box is this years model for 20000 dollars, upon delivery we (the matco man and I and a co worker found damage on the brand new tool box, they swore it would be fixed or replaced, here we are months or more later and nothing has been done, I stopped payment on the tool box and refuse to give them another dime until they resolve this issue, ITS A BRAND NEW TOOL BOX, they said they were replacing the box several times but nothing is ever done, I told them just come get the thing and dont put it on my credit report lets just call it even, they refuse to pick it up and now its on my credit report, I cant really afford to get my lawyer involved but I will if needed, I talked to the Matco district manager and he was suppose to help get this resolved, he stated to the Distributor that he cant get ahold of me but I have that conversation recored on RECMYCALLS on my phone, so he lied which isnt very comforting, Customer service calls me on the daily as if they dont know whats going on, I want them to leave me alone and I want the derogatory marks removed from my credit report, it is not my fault that they wont stand behind thier product. This tool box shocks you when you touch it, the lock is screwed up,(the matco distributor replaced the lock with a used red lock) but the used lock is red and my box is purple, the RGB light is inop, all this was recoreded with 2 different Matco Distributors, its not right that they sell me a Volkswagon and expect me to pay Lamdo prices, replace the tool box or repair it, do the right thing as Im paying 20,000 for this thing and its not right at all that they wont do anything to resolve the situation. Again this is a brand new tool box, I ordered this tool box Once the box is replaced I will gladly reume payments on this box, but they need to do thier job and make it so I can use this box, Im not paying for somthing I can not use when its brand new and does not operate as designed

Austin and John Brennan are terrible Matco reps don’t have 10 mm sockets don’t have 8 mm sockets and ratchet rebuild kits have to be ordered. Seems like the whole truck has irrelevant tools no one needs just wants. No real support with these reps in west palm beach stay away. Go with Tony from tool nation he’s been a snap on Matco tool rep he still can fix snap on-Matco whatever you need he doesn’t take advantage of you.
