Lindsey is my coach and she’s been amazing. She’s always available when I am struggling. The methods I am learning will last me a lifetime. Things like AST and the xyz method were completely foreign to me. I used to just hand in the same CV I’ve had for years. Now I know how to target my CV and cover letters to improve how I showcase myself for each specific role. I’m very appreciative of Lindsey’s patience and clear desire to help people develop these skills. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this! We are thrilled to hear how much you are getting out of working with Lindsey. Her patience and genuine care for helping fellows build lasting skills are what make her such a wonderful coach, and she will be so happy to read this.
Moving from one CV you have used for years to targeted materials for each role, using tools like ATS optimization and the XYZ method, is a huge shift. Those skills will keep serving you throughout your career.
We are so glad to have you in the fellowship and cannot wait to see where this takes you!
Warmly,

Take the Leap
Matchday is an incredible and worthwhile time and financial commitment. I know the feeling of feeling burned out and feeling like you put in so much as a health care provider and get nothing back in return. Matchday showed me that I wasn’t stuck and there are options out there! Jenny was my coach and she was absolutely incredible. From her patience to her ability to help me navigate terms and ideas that I was unfamiliar with, she and along with the rest of the Matchday team gave me the support and confidence I needed to breakthrough and get out of my clinical box. I have recently accepted a position I could’ve never imagined possible thanks to Matchday and their war chest of resources and support. If you’re not sure or teetering on whether to take the leap, use this message as your sign to take the plunge. I did, and I’m so happy I did!

Hi Jorman,
Thank you so much for sharing your story. So many clinicians reach a point where they feel like they are giving everything and getting very little back, and it means a lot that you were willing to speak to that honestly. We are so glad MatchDay helped you see that you were never stuck.
Jenny will be thrilled to read this. Her patience and the way she helps fellows make sense of new terms and ideas are exactly what make her such a great coach, and we love hearing how that helped you step outside your clinical box with confidence.
Congratulations on your new role! You put in the work to get here, and we could not be prouder. Thank you for encouraging others who are on the fence to take the leap. Your words will help more clinicians than you know.
Warmly,
The MatchDay Health Team

Worth it
I'm a PA-C with four years in practice. The experience was never the issue. Getting it past applicant tracking systems was, and so was explaining to a non-clinical hiring team why it qualified me for the role.
Matchday Health coaching was excellent and covered positioning and search strategy. They also worked through my resume and LinkedIn and prepared me for interviews and for negotiating the offer.
To be clear about their part: MatchDay did not hand me a job. I found the posting and applied myself. What changed was how I came across once I was in the process, which ran from a screening call through several interviews with physician leaders, then references, then an offer.
Match day provided me with an outreach strategy, network optimization and interview prep.
If your clinical experience is solid but you keep getting screened out, or you struggle to explain why it applies outside patient care, this is the help I'd recommend.
Response from MatchDay HealthOct 15, 2026
Ram, thank you for such a clear and honest review. You named the exact challenge so many clinicians face: the experience is there, but getting it past applicant tracking systems and in front of a non-clinical hiring team in a way that lands is a different skill entirely.
We are so glad LeeAnn was your coach through this. The work the two of you did together, from positioning and search strategy to your resume, LinkedIn, outreach, interview prep, and offer negotiation, reflects the kind of thoughtful, hands-on coaching LeeAnn brings to every fellow. She will be so proud to read this.
We also appreciate you sharing how the process really works. You found the role and you earned the offer. Our job is to help fellows show up as the strongest version of themselves at every stage, and seeing you move from a screening call through interviews with physician leaders to an offer is exactly what we hope for.
Congratulations on your new role, Ram. We are excited for what is ahead of you!
With appreciation,
The MatchDay Health Team

The Support I Needed for My Next Career Chapter
I’ve had a really positive experience with MatchDay Health. Making the decision to transition away from direct patient care after years in healthcare is overwhelming, especially when so much of my professional identity has been tied to being a clinician. MatchDay does a great job of understanding that transition and helping me see that my clinical experience isn’t something I have to leave behind—it’s something I can build on.
What has stood out most to me is the personalized support, specifically from LeeAnn. I’ve never felt like I was simply being given a generic career-change checklist. The coaching, feedback, and guidance from her have been tailored to my goals, experience, and the types of roles I’m pursuing. She has helped me identify and articulate the transferable skills I’ve developed throughout my career and translate them into language that makes sense outside of traditional clinical roles.
MatchDay also does a great job of making a career transition feel more manageable. There’s structure and accountability, but also flexibility and genuine encouragement. The team understands that changing careers is both a professional and personal process, and they've met me where I am.
Most importantly, MatchDay has helped me feel more confident about what’s possible next. They didn't just help me find another job—they helped me rethink how my experience, skills, and perspective can create value in a new career.
I’m grateful for the expertise, encouragement, and investment the MatchDay team has put into my transition. They’re doing a great job of helping healthcare professionals recognize that there can be an exciting next chapter beyond traditional clinical practice.

Claire,
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful reflection on your journey. Choosing to move beyond direct patient care takes real courage, especially when your clinical work has shaped so much of who you are. What stands out to us is how clearly you now see the value you carry with you, and how ready you are to build on it.
We are so glad LeeAnn has been by your side through this. The work the two of you have done together, from uncovering the transferable skills you developed over your career to translating them into language that speaks to roles outside the clinic, is the kind of personalized coaching LeeAnn is known for. She takes the time to understand each fellow's goals and experience, and it is clear that care has made a real difference for you.
This is the heart of what we do at MatchDay. A career transition should never feel like starting over, and we are proud to offer structure and accountability while honoring the personal side of change. Hearing that you feel more confident about what is possible next means everything to us.
You have done the hard work of rethinking your path, and it shows. We are excited for everything ahead of you and grateful you chose MatchDay to be part of this chapter.

Do not waste your money like I did
Do not waste your money like I did. This fellowship is expensive and makes promises they cannot keep. I went through the entire fellowship and did everything I was coached on and received 1 interview. The coaches are all part-time and work elsewhere. I had 3 separate coaches because of their turnover (also a flag), and all 3 coaches told me they give the same advice to the clients at their other jobs. There is nothing unique about their approach - it is a polished version of what everyone else is doing. All of my coaches told me I was doing "all the right things" but "it's just the job market". I was told I should consider going to paid conferences and college job fairs and pay for newsletters that give access to job ads sooner. Apparently I paid money to be told I'm not spending enough money. In my initial interest call I told Essi I work 50 hours a week - I do not have time to spend hours a week networking, yet that is what my coaching told me I need to do. So I stay up most nights trying to network yet get nowhere. I do not blame MatchDay for the job market, however I blame them for selling hope that they cannot fulfill on. All of the services they offer can be easily found at far less by leveraging AI and pay-per-service professionals. I paid $8,000 for an updated resume, 150 jobs applied to, and 1 interview. Rami should be ashamed of himself. I now have more debt and feel even more hopeless than I did before I wasted my money on this program. Do not make the same mistake I did!! I wish I had never stumbled upon MatchDay.
Response from MatchDay HealthOct 1, 2026
Hi RM,
Thank you for sharing your experience. Investing your time, money, and late nights into a career transition and still feeling discouraged is difficult, and we take your concerns seriously.
Our leadership team personally reviewed your enrollment call & progress throughout the Fellowship. The outcomes discussed were based on our results from more than 200 fellow placements, and the conversation you had with Essi addressed your background as a chiropractor and the potential outcomes for your specific transition.
MatchDay’s coaching team includes full-time and part-time professionals, many of whom hold healthcare leadership roles outside the program. This gives fellows access to people actively working in the fields they want to enter. Most fellows remain with one coach throughout their program. However, your experience with three coaches raises a concern about continuity that deserves review.
Coaches offer a range of job-search strategies, but guidance should account for each fellow’s circumstances. We recognize your concern that the recommendations felt difficult to sustain alongside a 50-hour workweek, and that suggestions involving additional spending added to your frustration.
As an alumnus, you retain access to your program resources, modules, and the materials developed with your coaches. We also recognize that continued access alone does not resolve the concerns you’ve raised.
Leadership has reached out to you directly to listen, review your coaching experience, and discuss an appropriate path toward resolution. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address this personally.

Mallory was an incredible coach for me
Mallory was an incredible coach for me. I appreciated the way she challenged my thinking and helped me stay accountable to myself and my goals.
Response from MatchDay HealthOct 1, 2026
Hi Derek,
Thank you so much for sharing this! Mallory has truly loved coaching you. She has talked about how much she enjoyed your sessions and watching you grow throughout the process. You came in ready to do the work, put the strategies she taught you into action, and held yourself to the goals you set. That partnership is exactly what MatchDay coaching is built on, and seeing where it has led you is so rewarding. We are thrilled for you as you step into a new chapter, and we are so proud to have you in the MatchDay community.

CT Tech to Clinical Field Specialist
When I decided to transition out of clinical imaging after 13 years as a CT Technologist I honestly did not know where to start. I had the credentials and the experience but no roadmap for how to translate any of it into a non-clinical career in health tech.
MatchDay was everything I was looking for and everything I needed to make this transition successfully. The fellowship gave me the framework, the confidence, and the support to take 13 years of clinical experience and communicate it in a way that resonated with health tech companies. Within 4 months of joining I accepted a position as a Clinical Field Specialist.
A heartfelt thank you to Rami, Jenny, and Chanel. Your support, guidance, and genuine investment in my success throughout this process meant more than I can put into words. Hands down this is the best investment I have made in myself. My future self is already thanking me for it. If you are a clinician wondering whether a non-clinical transition is possible, it is. And MatchDay is the place to start.
Response from MatchDay HealthSep 30, 2026
Chealsi, thank you for sharing your story! Thirteen years as a CT Technologist is a lot of experience to reposition, and you did it with so much determination. Landing a Clinical Field Specialist role within four months is a huge accomplishment, and Rami, Jenny, and Chanel are so grateful for your kind words. Your message to other clinicians says it best: this transition is possible. Congratulations on your new role. We are so proud of you!

The support I needed, exactly when I needed it
MatchDay was exactly the kind of flexible, responsive support I needed during my job search. The program was great at meeting me wherever I was in the process and when interviews came up, they jumped in to help me prepare right away, even when that meant working slightly out of order with the standard program structure.
My coach, LeeAnn, was extremely insightful and prepared me exceptionally well for tough interviews. I honestly don't believe I would have landed the job I did without her coaching and guidance.
The one area I'd suggest for improvement is strengthening internal networking opportunities within the program.
Response from MatchDay HealthSep 25, 2026
VM, thank you so much for taking the time to share this. Flexibility is at the heart of how we want to support fellows, and it means a lot to hear that LeeAnn was able to jump in when interviews came up, even if that meant stepping outside the usual sequence. Every job search looks different, and the goal is to personalize your support.
LeeAnn will be so happy to read this. Preparing for tough interviews takes real work on both sides, and it sounds like you put in that effort together. Congratulations on the new role!
We also appreciate your suggestion about strengthening internal networking within the program. Connection between fellows is valuable, and your feedback helps shape how we grow. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter.
