I have stay in Courtyard by Marriot International Drive Convention center in Orlando. I stayed for 5 days. The service, to say the least, is poor. For 2 days my room was not cleaned at 8 pm in 2 days. 1 day the used towels were not collected in the room. The shower gel container was empty despite notifying reception for 4 days. Finally they made an unjustified charge on my card 2 hours after checkout. The manager Ana Zapata did not respond to my requests. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone

Don’t fall for Marriott’s/Delta scam offer of reward points. They are near worthless, as we have found to our cost. Their hotels are often poor and the food dull. Their customer service is shocking. Choose any other non related hotel chain.

I have had poor experiences the last two times I stayed at Marriott - Embassy Suites BWI and Merriweather Lakehouse Columbia, MD. I complained to the staff at Lakehouse about a party the hotel was hosting on the outdoor deck that felt like it was in my room. The clerk discounted me by just informing me when it would end - no accommodations. My Embassy Suites room had a faulty toilet and a plumber came to my room at 11:30pm after I got back from a day of traveling across the country. It still wasn’t fixed. Anyway - I put reviews in and put a complaint in thru Marriott (I am a Bonvoy credit card holder). I never heard back. I’m probably cancelling my card and going with Hilton.

I have been a lifetime platinum elite member for over 15 years. I recently discovered that means nothing. I had an issue with a reservation through MARRIOTT homes and villas. Due to the expected arrival of hurricane Ian, l needed to cancel my trip. Full refunds from United Airlines, Hertz and TripAdvisor-no problem. They actually cared about my safety and well being. Not the case with Marriott. Marriott refused to refund my money and the amount of time l spent trying to reach someone in customer service who could help was ridiculous. Extremely disappointed in the treatment l received from Marriott.

Absolute shambles of a loyalty program. I noticed points missing on my account and raised it on 1st October to them having spent 20minutes calling a US number from UK. Then heard nothing for a week and emailed them to which told to call the US number again where they took over 20 minutes to work out how to resolve the issue. In the meantime the call cost me more then the value of the points lost. I can't believe how an international organisation cannot handle simple issues and not provide a way of contacting them locally as opposed to spending money chasing them to help. Stay clear of them for your own sanity.

What a joke to even claim to have a customer service department. I had a reservation with points and was randomly sent a cancellation e-mail. I called Bonvoy/Marriott customer service to find out what happened?? Basically the hotel decided to bump up the point requirement for the stay so they just cancelled the reservation 4 days before the start of the reservation?? 4 hours on the phone and three layers of customer (dis)service and I got no where, they just said not our policy to correct the situation. What a joke! I was 10,000 points from the new rate and they would not comp any point and just has a deaf ear to it all. I will never stay at another Marriot Property and will take them off the recommended properties at my place of business.

THE MINUTE BONVOY TOOK OVER MARRIOTT, IT WENT DOWNHILL VERY FAST. THEY WONT BE AROUND LONG NOW. I AM GOLD ELITE DOWNGRADED FROM TITANIUM ELITE BC OF CO-VID. THEY TREAT ME LIKE CRAP...ALWAYS BOOKED FULL(LIES) TO KEEP MY EARNED UPGRADES FROM ME. IT MAKES ENSE FOR ME TO GO BACK TO HILTON AND HYATT.

I have been a long time member of Marriot. Since they changed to MARRIOTBONVOY>COM This NEW company. IS NOT VERY GOOD. Many errors Will not help retired VETS. Courtyard WILL>COURTYARD IS GREAT>LOVE THEM,great to stay and deal with. MARRIOTBONVOY makes MANY MISTAKES AND NO HELP or DISCOUNT for RETIRED VETS>>>>
