I got 10000 points and used them to buy two £10 Asda gift cards. The gift cards arrived but when I tried to use them they had no money on them - this was embarrassing as I help up a line of shoppers while the store tried in vain to find out what was wrong. I tried complaining but the only email contact put me through to their US based customer service who signposted me back to the same starting point I'd started from. After this I gave up as I'm busy and can't waste time chasing after £20 of vouchers in a system that appears designed to make communication and correction of errors as difficult as possible.

Been at Bonvoy for ~20 years (joined when it was Starwood, which was great). Bonvoy is terrible. My points are worthless, and the free night I get awarded each year is impossible to use for any desirable location. Time to find a new program.

Following a very disappointing stay at Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre, I have written 4 times without any substantive response from Marriott Dubai customer services and my email to the president of Marriott Bonvoy Europe Middle East and Africa division has similarly been ignored. The only conclusion to be drawn is that the company has an utter disregard for its customers.

I have been a bonvoy member for years, and have been happy until now. I tried logging into my bonvoy account and I have been locked out. I was told my credit card did not match my bonvoy number, so I am wondering if someone has hacked my account. After 3 calls, I was told I would hear back in 5 to 10 business days. Perhaps, they cannot afford the points program? Any feedback would be appreciated, because I am not getting any answers from Bonvoy.

Horrible experience I booked at the residence inn in Austin on their website it says there is a oven in the room which is the whole reason I even booked to begin with. I decided to stop by to check out the hotel 4 days later come to find out the did not have a oven in the 1 bedroom only the 2 bedroom. I tried to cancel I could not get a refund even though my check in is not for another 15 days and I couldn't switch locations plus they were sold out. They did not want to help me at all with the issue just a bad experience

They'll charge you in full, upfront, 90 days in advance and you can't change anything, upgrade the room or cancel your reservation. What a suck company. I'll never stay at a marriott property again.

I don’t see the point of this member scheme, I tried to book a vacation through the site and found it was £1,000.00 less if I booked it via a third party site that amount over an 8 day period is astonishing, I did email them and let them know, I recieved an email asking How did we do?” I responded that you haven’t done anything, I hadn’t had and still hadn’t had a response to why its cheaper to book via another party rather than direct with the Hotel group

Extremely bad customer service they reply with a different subject from what I originally wrote to them. They don’t address the issue they don’t offer any compensation they don’t even consider it. I am going to end my membership with this greedy group and I will never book any hotel with them.
