I was looking to use my annual reward plus use some of my points. NOW they have stay and pay. You can use an exhoberbanent amount of points and pay a fee also. I actually could pay less per night at some of the locations by not using my points and just use a senior discount. I'm canceling my card

Inequality in pricing and useless customer service. We booked the same room type for the same member chain hotel at the same time from 2 different platforms and I ended up paying %10 more. And even in this case of paying more customer service refused to count the stay nights into the royalty program. I hope more people check here before they book through this chain.

I am livid with both my Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member and with their credit card!!! Somebody hacked into my account and used up all of my points! I called the customer service line about 5-6 times and I had written them. Nobody has a clue as to what is going on! Just giving me the run around! This took place several months ago!!

Stayed at two Marriott properties from May 17th to the 19th, and then another from the 19th to the 21st. Refused to give me points for the 2nd stay because my stays "overlapped". Give me a break. The overseas customer service reps were completely useless. Hey Marriott, bring your customer service back in house. This is trash and I will no longer be using this program.

I am a Platinum Elite Marriott member and needed 4 hotel rooms and a staging room for my team at the 150th Kentucky Derby (April 28-May 5th). I went to book the rooms for that week at an average rate just above $4,000.00 each ($16,000 plus). On first try my Marriott CC was refused and cancelled as they thought it was fraud (Huge inconvenience)…the second try was the same for my wife’s new Marriott card, so I had to pull out my trusty AMEX card to book 4 rooms at a Louisville SpringHill Suites and one at a Fairfield Inn(which was our staging room). I did receive the points and room credits for the Fairfield room but Marriott refuses to give me any credit for the $16,000 plus dollars spent at the SpringHill Suites or the room credits for staying in room 308 on these dates. Their customer “care” people say that they won’t honor points or credits in 2 hotels over the same nights….which is not true as my wife has used my card when she has traveled and I still get the points and room credits. I have already crossed the threshold of spending for Ambassador level…just not the room night. I am realizing that Marriott won’t miss my business in 2025. I hope they won’t miss yours as well.

DO NOT Trust this credit card! In March when we searched hotels in Omaha, the web page offered an eGift card for $300, but it purposely misguided users. (1) it gave us the impression that we could use it for our reservation, but actually not. (2) not disclose clearly it charges $90 annual fee for this card. (3) when we checked in at the hotel, its employee told us that this $300 would be refunded at check-out time. (4) At check-out time the hotel manager said she needed her accountant to do this and they didn't work on Sunday. (5) when we filed dispute with the bank behindd it, Chase bank, they said because you did stay in the hotel for two nights, therefore the charge was valid --- even though we never gave our signature on that charge!!! Since the card was fee based, we declined it, therefore the vouche was invalidated too.

The Bonvoy app is no longer compatible with my phone. Marriot said and I quote "you can still use the desktop version". When I'm on a plane? Or on the road somewhere? Sure, right. So I'll use my points up ASAP, and then I will become "incompatible" w/Marriott. However, I'm sure they could care less...

Marriott, Marriott Vacation, Marriott BonVoy is all Linked together however any time you call they blame each other for the mistakes and no one can fix the issues. This is a TimeShare Linked Company and will sell your information to make a quick buck. Be careful its a scam. all your Points, Vacation $, Prepaid Vacations will get denied at some point dealing with these scam Artist.
