Don't buy, read all reviews! Wish I'd read before I bought. Great sweatshirt, took 15 working days to get to me, but the worst thing is simply terribly customer service. USPS shipped from NJ (NOT California, so there's that), via Philly to Seattle, then up to Anchorage, then back to Seattle to 5 different depots before delivery. Whew. Marine Layer's stock (AI?) response was always same words, ".....sometimes it just turns up". Asked to escalate to human to resolve, got same message, no human working there it seems. Arrived today, after 15 working days, then got this beautifully sarcastic note from Dave @ "Customer Services" "Hey, Duncan, as predicted, it looks like the package has now been delivered to your mailbox" Well done Dave, you earned your employer another 1 star review. Great job!

No indication of fit on the t-shirts I ordered so ordered Med and Large. Return/Exhange process complicated and the system locked me out. No one answers the phone so trying to get help took me two days. finally I was able to get a return label and decided to just return both and forget the exchange!! You can't talk w someone, bad customer service. Left w the robot. Done w this website

It is rare, but every now & again, you purchase an item that lands so above expectations, you want to either tell the world or keep this delicious secret all to yourself. I own 2 Orlebar Brown swim shorts. They are the very best swim trunks, bar none, but prices have reached a level that I can no longer justify. Off I go to see if I can locate hedonic replacement. Web search, lo & behold, the handsome Classic trunks from Marine Layer w more than a passing resemblance to og OB trunks. Take a chance, worst case scenario, return to NYC retail location. Item arrives, so soft, so right in every way. So long OB, hello ML...now off to Croatia. Stay classy Marine Layer.

Ordered a set based on what was listed as in stock, then was told after purchase that part of it was sold out. The item still showed as available online, which is misleading. The resolution repeatedly put the responsibility on me to fix their mistake. I was left with half a set and had to repackage it, print a return label, and ship it back. That’s unnecessary extra work caused by inaccurate inventory. This should have been handled with a full refund from the start.

Warning! Chinese based company. Will never send your order and your credit card number will be all over the Internet. This is why you’ve never heard of them except on those social media apps. Stay clear!
