Maptive has been a valuable tool for managing our client addresses and sales territories for several years. While it is generally user-friendly, some initial training is required to optimize its functionality. However, I have observed a lack of updates and new features, which is a point of concern. Overall, a good tool.

We have a large volume dataset we wanted to view, and no GIS or other software outside of Google Earth. We did a trial period of Maptive and it was so impressive we purchased it. We've had it for 2 weeks so far and found many ways to use it. Pros: - loads and geocodes addresses quickly - heat map and radius options - ability to quickly change views - ability to share exact views or interactive maps - quick customer service response Cons: - a layered map will actually consist of multiple maps and is not as customizable as the individual maps

Great Company and customer service. They have worked diligently to address our custom needs for the mapping software. We have a significant amount of data mapped and so the map can take time to refresh after each key/mouse input.

Maptive is wonderful tool for my team. It's friendly and visual are very clear and simple. There are few functions I would like to see: 1. searchable and able to sort in data aspect for adding and deleting data 2. set up own preference for all tools and save it for all maps created. For example, when I import new map, the boundary tool will reset to default setting and I had to adjust it again. 3. better zoom in and out. I like to control the zoom entirely such as by 1% instead of 10%.

Hi Robert, Thank you for your review and your kind words. Our support staff would like to have a chat with you because we're happy to let you know you can already do #1 & #2 on your request list. Our customer support team will be in touch with instructions and to try and setup a live demo with you so we can show you how. #3 on your list is actually controlled entirely by Google so we don’t have any control over this. Our maps zoom exactly the same as Google maps do. We will note your account and if Google ever adds additional zoom levels to their maps then we’ll let you know so you can take advantage of them. Expect an email from our support team with instructions and to set up a demo for #1 and #2. Should you need anything else in the interim, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

The only problem we face is when the numbers are high in map, it takes time and hangouts, which will not auto recover
Response from MaptiveApr 13, 2018
Hi Srinivas, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate your input and feedback. We’d like to learn more about your comment. There are lots of things that can cause maps to hang up and usually we can diagnose and correct those issues. Anything from internet connection speeds, data corruption, firewall disruption, anti virus software issues to the occasional bug can effect this. Someone from our customer support team is going to reach out to you to see if we can gather more information. We’d like to see if we can replicate what your seeing because if we can then we can diagnose and resolve the issue for you. Again, thanks a ton for your review. We really appreciate your time and your use of Maptive.

The program is great and user friendly. It is easy to drop data for address and information to be mapped, which is a function I use. I map various customers, an asset would be able to have different colored icons for groups of addresses.
Response from MaptiveApr 5, 2018
Hello Elissa, We really appreciate you taking the time to give us a review on TrustPilot. We take our reviews and customers' feedback very seriously. The good news is that we actually do offer a tool that does exactly what you'd like to do with groups of addresses having different colored icons / map markers. It's called the "Grouping Tool". A member or our customer support team will reach out to you directly and help you learn how to use the tool. Please don't hesitate to contact [email protected] if there is ever anything we can do to make your experience with Maptive better. Thanks again for your review and for using Maptive.

The site is very resource heavy, and is slow at times.
Response from MaptiveApr 5, 2018
Hi Matthew, Thanks a ton for taking the time to review Maptive. We really appreciate your feedback and pay special attention to what our users think about their experience with our software. We'd really like to learn more about your issue. Speed problems can be derived from a large number of different causes (wifi connection speeds, problems with data set formatting and syntax, firewalls, method of tool usage, amount of data, etc, etc, etc). I'm sure that we can show you some tricks so that your experience isn't so resource heavy and speeds are greatly improved. Someone from our customer support team will reach out to you directly to help you resolve your issue. Thanks again for your review and for using Maptive.
