I had what I thought was a simple problem: color code California counties based on their average rainfall. I tried several solutions before Maptive. Short version: I finished the project with the help of Maptive's outstanding technical support. They found a glitch in my data. (If your Excel worksheet has a column labeled County don't include the word "county" with the name. It's Alameda, not Alameda County.) Mapping is a very difficult field, especially for us rookies. I'm grateful for their patience and persistence, even pointing me to a help page I should have found on my own.

I love using Maptive! The system is so easy to use and makes creating maps for my job fun! I looked into a lot of different mapping tools for my company to use and this one was by far the best.
