My experience with Manychat has been extremely frustrating because I keep receiving unwanted messages connected to the service and cannot properly unsubscribe. The unsubscribe process does not appear to work reliably, or it does not provide a clear way to fully opt out. For a platform built around automated messaging, this is a serious problem. Users should not have to fight a system just to stop unwanted messages. Manychat needs to fix its unsubscribe and suppression process so that people can clearly and permanently opt out.

Never again! Im on PRO PLAN for over 18th Months already and decided to cancel my subscription because of too expensive since they change now their monthly plan, I contacted there support first to complain about there changes of the monthly plan, however after several days, THEY BANNED my account entirely! Manychat resolution is to banned there customer account and telling you that you violated there terms. STUPID!!! im using same automation for over 18th months with no issue, but after i complain to there support THEY BANNED my account. Manychat is a trash!!!

There is a lack of respect for and compliance with GDPR; I have been trying to delete my data but have been unable to do so. I sent an email to privacy, as stated in the site's privacy policy, but the email address simply does not exist. I will be reporting this to the competent authorities.

They will charge you extra because you will go over your normal active contacts per month. Their subscription model is made to overcharge. By standard they charge $20 a month extra, for just 250 extra active contacts. If you upgrade your plan you get 2250 extra active contacts a month and they ask only $15. Service is unreachable and the math ain't mathing, it's ridiculous.

My automations do not work consistently. And there is NO customer support at all. The chat box doesn’t help, there is no phone number for customer service, and nobody replies to emails asking for help. I’m totally disappointed.

Heads-up for anyone considering ManyChat to manage organic DMs: read the "active contact" definition before you commit. I assumed an "active contact" meant someone I reached through an automation I built. In practice, a contact counts as "active" any time a message is sent or received through the platform — including organic conversations that land in the connected inbox, not just ones an automation started. That distinction isn't clear from the plan names, and the definition lives in fine print most people never read. It adds up quickly: the Essential plan ($14/mo) includes 250 active contacts, then charges $0.10 for every additional contact that month, so one post that drives a wave of DMs can push you over before you notice. I'm still in the trial period, and I've decided to cancel. The tool itself works most of the time, but in my opinion, the billing model isn't transparent enough about what you're actually paying for. Know exactly what "active contact" means before you connect your accounts.

From my experience - I really don't understand the audacity of this company to charge for number of contacts... when there's nothing helpful you can do with the contacts anyway. How we used it was for a simple automation - someone comments on a post and we send them a DM. I signed up for $14 per month. My most recent bill was $85. For what? They charge per number of contacts... a contact = anyone who comments on a post, or replies to a story, DM etc, whatever you have set up in your automation. An instagram user = a contact. Which would make more sense if you could segment & mass DM contacts - but you can't, because Meta forbids it. Or if you could export contacts - but you can't. Even if you collected their email addresses or phone numbers - you cannot export data. All you can do is open each contact individually and manually copy & paste what you have collected. For $85+ a month? Seriously? You're paying for contacts you can't do anything with. Shouldn't they at least send a notification to say you're approaching the limit of your monthly price number of contacts and will be charged more next month? The billing is needlessly confusing and makes no sense on the bill - they overlap different charges. AVOID this company. I'm moving to another company, bye Manychat

Most app ever I had a simple issue on my many chat account. When I raised ticket tried to contact support only got response from a chatbot didn't resolve my query or got back to me. I will not renew my subscription and will recommend everyone to use different options bcz if you will face an issue the team won't get back to you!.
