My experience with Manhattan Prep has been nothing but positive. I have taken the GMAT Prep Course - Group/In Person and I have started individual tutoring. Group Prep Course - these courses are great. The online platform, homework, resources, and practice tests they have are incredibly useful. The teacher that I had was knowledgeable and had a great method of teaching. The only note I'll make (and this is for you the reader, not for Manhattan Prep) - I was very weak on my Foundations for math. Due to this, I could not take advantage of the course properly. Before you take the course, do some pre-studying if necessary to get up to snuff on foundations - the course is great for using your basic knowledge as a platform to then teach you GMAT specific tips and tricks. I ended up not engaging in the math portions much at all because of my own lack of prep. Tutoring - The individual tutoring has been nothing short of amazing and I am just at the start! To make up for my Math failings, I decided to get a tutor. So far, he has been incredible at diagnosing where I fall short, helped me get out of my own head, and created a solid plan for improvement. I truly believe the tutoring will be the "make it" (rather than break it) for me on the GMAT. All of this is combined with access to great online resources, all the books you need and superb customer service. Final note - Manhattan Prep is expensive, this is undeniable. However, if you have the means to use them I would highly recommend doing so. They are top tier and full service, spending slightly less money elsewhere and then finding you need more help will cost you more than starting with the best first.

The combination of the stellar books and follow-up study guide after the first GMAT I took is what stood out to me about Manhattan Prep. I do not think I got a ton out of the classes. However, the books were phenomenal, as was the gameplan I developed with an instructor after I took the test for the first time. Sticking to the study plan I got from the instructor allowed me to go from a 620 to 700. I'm very happy with the progress!

I took a GRE class in Fall 2015 with Joe. He was great, the classes were engaging and I learned quite a bit about the various strategies. I was overall pleased with my score. Would highly recommend Joe.

Taking a 2 month GMAT course from Isaac Botier helped me improve my GMAT score from 610 to 730! The other resources such as their strategy guides also are great, as is the one-on-one post course assessment. They give practical advice that came in extremely handy during the exam (i.e. which questions to skip, how to manage your time etc) Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to improve their score or taking GMAT for the first time.
