It was the most disgusting flight of my…
It was the most disgusting flight of my life, no one and never recommend this company, I wish only to run away from them as far as possible, that your luggage is not lost, and then you did not run after them like a beggar, asking where it is more than a week
I plan to sue you and malaysia airlines as well as srilankan airlines.
And here is the list of reasons:
1) I was originally sold a ticket with a 17 hour flight and much more comfortable
2) Shortly before departure they changed the flight to an earlier time (02.08) whereas the previous one was for a later time (which was exactly what I needed), and the total flight time of the changed flight was almost 30 hours (which was out of the limit), I asked to change the ticket to a more comfortable one with the right time and city of arrival, but my requests were ignored
3) At check-in, malaysia airlines gave me boarding tickets of the same name, but when I arrived at KTM I was given 3 new boarding tickets from srilankan airlines and I was totally confused
4) After arriving in Colombo, I waited for over 10 hours (including a 3 hour delay in departure, in addition to waiting for a flight that I was not scheduled)
5) And the final thing, in addition to the disgusting flight you organized for me, compared to the one I bought -- you lost my luggage and now no one contacts me and can not even inform me about the status of this task (finding my luggage)
I want compensation in the full amount of the payment for the tickets, for the moral compensation given to me due to the totally unsuccessful flight, as well as the lost luggage.
In case of ignoring this message or lack of compensation, I will immediately go to court to find out what right you had to do this to me.
I look forward to hearing from you immediately!

Luggage was lost, did not arrive in Frankfurt.
We checked our luggage in Kuala Lumpur and flew the next route:
1) 4 MH 170 O 01AUG 1 KULKTM HK2 M 0925 1145
it was malaysia airlines, and they issued boarding tickets for all the remaining flights, but the next two were flown by srilankan airlines
2) 5 UL 182 R 01AUG 1 KTMCMB HK2 I 1315 1640
3) 6 UL 553 L 01AUG 1 CMBFRA HK2 2340 0815+1
The only way I could find my luggage was if I packed it with Seal&Trace and they put a sticker on my luggage so it could be found
It was the most disgusting flight of my life, no one and never recommend this company, I wish only to run away from them as far as possible, that your luggage is not lost, and then you did not run after them like a beggar, asking where it is more than a week

Scammed by flexiticket
(On behalf of experience with my mums ticket)
Do not buy the flexi ticket ever. We bought a flexible ticket and it was rm500 ringgit more expensive because we knew it was highly likely that we would change ticket. The condition was there is no fee when changing ticket, only the fare difference. However when we finally wanted to change the ticket, they dictated and created an arbitrarily high new fare just for the change of ticket. I looked on the website and right now, i can pay RM3500 for a brand new ticket OR RM3500 to change the ticket IN ADDITION to the RM3000 already paid. So changing the flight would cause RM6500!
When expressing how ridiculous this is to the call centre, the person on call lied and said try online it will be different and cheaper. It was not cheaper.
I learnt a lesson, do not buy any extras from Malaysia Airlines, it is a scam.

Terrible airline
Terrible airline. They cancelled two flights and gave no support. They made it extremely hard to get a confirmation letter to claim travel insurance and left people stuck in an airport with no advice on how to travel to their destination.
Make sure you get a good insurance policy if you choose to fly with them

Never book Malaysian Airlines especially FlyPass
Bought the (non-refundable) Asean FlyPass from MAS (top level 3) which sounds fantastic on the ads and from the “travel expert” that recommended it. I wanted to fly to Bali from Bangkok for a wedding, stay an extra day afterwards and return.
It says there are no blocked dates on the flights and date and time change can be done foc at any time - this is complete nonsense as you find out immediately after your payment has been processed.
At that time MAS website showed many flights available at several times throughout the days before the wedding BUT when I tried to book using my Fly Pass, no dice - the only way I could arrive before the wedding was to fly on the same morning - luckily the only flight offered was an early morning flight so I could, theoretically make it with a bit of wiggle space if I hired a car.
HOWEVER the earliest flight back to Bangkok was 6 days later - and I had to overnight in KL on the outward and return legs - I booked more hotel nights and transport into KL.
I tried calling the 24 hr “helpline” that was a joke on hold to total silence and then straight to a customer satisfaction survey which then cut me off.
Several more attempts failed so I flew on the allotted day tried with the ticketing office at MAS in the airport to change return flights the system was down and then the HQ kept hanging up on their own staff!!- next morning I got up at 5am to get to the airport for my 9am flight. During the journey I got a message saying 30 minute delay, ok, not too bad then as we approach airport another message saying delayed to 10.10am - flight actually departed at 10.35am. Arrived in the middle of airport chaos but the deal offers “priority” privileges so I went to fast track queue - big mistake! Shouted at me when I eventually got to front and I was sent to back of the longest queue ever seen.
Missed the wedding, needless to say, had to pay extra for rental car as the renter waited for me for 4 hours
Tried to change the flight back again - complained over FB and the App and again at the airport on my return to KL the MAS ground staff were very sympathetic and said the system was “new, the Journify App is a disaster, you should complain to MAS HQ”
Eventually got back to Bangkok after missing a wedding and a week travelling, what a disaster!!
I’m now trying to book my next trip and the system is again corrupted and the helpline couldn’t help and the guy hung up on me when I started telling my story.
Kill me someone, please !

Difficult Customer Service Call Centre
Very difficult working through the customer service to try and change flights. Call often cuts off. When they say they are going to call back - they dont. Very frustrating...

Worst airline
This has to be the worst airline I have ever been on. I few business class with them from KL to Perth AU and they lost all 3 of my bags. It took 4 days to get 2 of them back. The last 1 has not been found and they are dragging their feet about paying for the items that were lost as well as items I had to buy on arrival with nothing to my name. It has been a month now and they still just send bad emails and no one is willing to talk to you direct.

Malaysian airlines is a shambolic…
Malaysian airlines is a shambolic airline. I was bringing my Mum from Ireland to Kuala Lumpur for a nice family holiday and for her to visit where I live. We were due to fly from Dublin to KL via Doha. MAS then changed our flight from Doha and moving it to Singapore with no connecting flight from Singapore to KL, we also had a 20 hour layover in Doha. I tried all week to change the flight, hours and hours on the phone to terrible customer service reps. They lied constantly to us, promised call backs, blamed Qatar airways and blamed the travel agents. In the end we went to the airport and decided we would deal with the 20 hour layover, arrived in the airport to be told the flight doesn’t exist and was never ticketed. Extreme stress and panic at the airport, phoned MAS again, they promised call backs which never came, now we still in Ireland. I urge people to AVOID THIS AIRLINE at all costs.
