Cancelled our tickets without bothering to tell us so we missed all our other connecting flights home and when trying to get conformation that they Cancelled our tickets they claimed we was a no show. There goes £1300

Second time bag never arrive on same flight When they got 2hour(transit) in kl to do the job

Realised after booking that middle names are required for MA. Emailed to amend but told to call, with a ref number. Phoned and put on hold for 20 minutes to then pay by an email link which I could have done from the start. Cost me £30 to phone Malaysia and £120 to add middle names. Really poor service.

I had selected a window seat for each of my 4 longhaul flight legs on a return trip. Then I clicked on the “upgrade to lounge pass and extra legroom” button in Manage my Booking to see what seat options were available. There were no options for my second flight so I went back to my booking to find that my original seat allocation was gone. 😳 They had cancelled it before I had a chance to decide if I wanted a better seat - which wasn’t even available. The live chat people took ages to tell me there was “nothing they could do”. I had to PAY for a new seat selection. Because they cancelled my seat when I responded to their advert for an upgrade. It is incredible. Appalling.

The worst airline I have ever travelled on & our tickets were not cheap! Our flight was delayed, therefore missed our connecting flight. No apologies, shit customer service from Malaysia airlines. No guidance by staff as to where out gate was. We were stuck in malaysia for 24hrs. I paid extra for check in luggage. Argued with staff for exactly 1.5hrs proving which leg of the flight my extra baggage was for but she kept insisting she was right! Even though i had proven to her with my written invoice but she still insisted on arguing with me for 1.5hrs! Then they charged us $360USD (yes in US dollars for 1kg extra!) for being 1kg over!!! Then our return flight was changed and again we were stuck in malaysia this time for 6hrs! ON top of everything else, they damaged 2 of my luggages! I WILL NEVER FLY WITH MALAYSIA AIRLINES AGAIN EVEN IF THEY PAID ME!!!!

There is lots of bad experience with Malaysian airlines.I lost my luggage and break my briefcase. I wrote many letters and lots of proof since they didn’t solve the problem, they said refund $150 compensation received an email but don’t have any provision to collect the funds, briefcase itself more than $200 AU very hardly they give offer above amount with loss of goods and briefcases what is this Airline they are not keeping the standard, other issues booked ticket for next year now they sent an email flight cancelled, they booked ticket for unreliable long gap we need spend 3 days in Malaysia who is going to pay for that. Other issues jobs security so-many programs wedding due to this reason who is going to postpone the wedding, this airlines not thinking about the human values, flight cancelled from you, not passengers. So please you have to maintain human values. Thanks Mathew

I have written to Malaysian Airline for a medical issue that touched my family on July 30th after sending all the documents on august 1st I have no news.Since August 1st, I have been getting stringed along by Malaysia Airlines. I sent all the required documents on August 1st and called immediately after to confirm they had received everything. Since then, I’ve been calling every two days for an update, only to be given the runaround. On top of the pain of losing loved ones, I now have to deal with their sheer incompetence. A week ago, I requested a callback from a manager—I’ve received zero updates, not a single email, and not a single phone call. They owe me a refund on taxes and need to waive the penalties, yet I hear nothing back. The most important thing is that the customer service put the phone down when you call. Never book with this airline. All the reviews says the same thing.
