Damaged suitcase…
We travelled Business Class to Singapore (not Singapore) but had flights to and back to Borneo with Malaysian Airlines. My suitcase was damaged on the return leg to Singapore. We were met at the airport and went straight to the hotel, arriving very late at night, where the concierge immediately pointed out the damage to the case and lock, the hotel labelled the case to say it was damaged on arrival. We flew out the next day business class with Singapore Airlines unable to lock the case it was so badly damaged. I immediately on return reported the damage to the case via the website. Complaint lodged and printed off. No response, after many emails to the email address given to follow up the complaint, still no reply. I wrote to the London address and eventually had a reply. I should have reported it immediately, no replacement case. I pointed out in a reply that a damaged case can be reported on-line within 7 days, but no response. Again, I sent many emails, to be then told it was normal wear and tear. I wrote to Malaysian Airlines head office, no response. I will not travel with them again, not very good customer service.
