Changed flight times by 2 hours, they somehow managed to loose my luggage from a trip from kota kinabalu to bangkok. Im now in a foreign country without change of clothing, essential toiletries or my much needed medication for health. Not a very good way to treat a customer who had booked business class. Deeply disappointed with my journey with malaysian airlines on 02/01/2026 and unless this can be swiftly rectified I will no longer be flying with this airline ever again if there is an option. An apology is due, likely is some kind of compensation as well as my luggage that has done a disappearing act ideally delivered to me in a timely manner. Without my medication I will likely be needing a hospital visit for which you shall be invoiced accordingly.

Do not fly with Malaysia airlines! I am extremely extremely extremely disappointed with their careless mistakes, the LYING staff and the complete lack of customer service. My luggage has been carelessly delayed and at every point along the way the staff have been unhelpful, or straight up LIED to me. Firstly, they gave me the incorrect baggage tag at Sydney Airport - they gave me someone else’s name who was going to Chennai, not even the same destination at me. When I went to speak to them about the baggage tag they said i don’t need the correct one and refused to give me the correct baggage tag. That was mistake ONE. Then I transitted in KL - I checked TWICE about my bags being put through to my final destination. I checked at Sydney airport when I checked in. Then I confirmed at the transit desk in KL that my bags would be transferred to my next flight. They said yes. I arrive in Kolkata - NO BAG. The customer service team there said that it was never put on the flight. I fill out a report. Since then, I have recieved NO UPDATES. The Malaysia airline staff in Kolkata don’t even pick up the phone half the time. They keep telling me my bag is delayed because of restrictions in KL and there’s nothing they can do, they can’t call KL or anything. They say my bag will come on the next flight and it does not come and they don’t even call me to update me. I contacted Malaysia airlines office in KL - they didn’t pick up any of the phones, so I sent my family in KL to go speak to them, and they said they need the Kolkata staff to call and request that the bag come. WHICH THE KOLKATA STAFF REFUSE TO DO. I have no way of getting my bag. I’ve asked for financial compensation so I can buy some basic clothes (underwear) and toileteties as I have very little in my carryon. The staff tell me to email for compensation - there’s no response to my email and no one to call. I will never fly Malaysia Airlines again - you shouldn’t either if you want basic customer service.

Nightmare travel experience with @MalaysiaAirlines! 😡 On Sep 10th, I was unfairly denied boarding on flight MH0002 from KUL to the UK. MAS gave THREE different, contradictory reasons: Agent cancelled the ticket (False) Didn't show up on time (False) Singapore office cancelled it (No Idea) Forced to stay overnight, my friend and I had to buy expensive last-minute tickets on another airline the next day. It’s been 3 months and zero resolution or explanation from the airline. Totally unacceptable customer service and a breach of consumer rights.

Malaysia airline service is shockingly disappointing. All the overhead cabins were taken and when I ask the staff to help me. She did not helped me at all. I followed the rule which is one hand carry bag per passenger. I was left alone helpless where to accommodate my hand carry bag. I will never ever fly with the Malaysia Airline again.

I booked 2 flights London Heathrow to Perth. I needed to change the dates and had to cancel my tickets OR change the tickets within 24 hrs. Just over 12 hrs. Even tho I had paid an extra £15 per ticket for more flexibile flight they charged me £200 cancellation fee PER TICKET to cancel. It was cheaper to cancel the ticket than change the dates to a less busy time. Most other airlines allow free cancellation within 24 hrs but not Malaysia Airlines.

Really poor customer service experience. It took them 30 minutes to update my phone number to a new number as they recently activated MFA without any option to reset the number. When I wanted to update to a Singapore number, they say its an invalid number. THe system is really poor....

I’ve been trying to find where I can leave a bad review. I have to write one — I’m still not done being angry! Msia Airline was absolutely outrageous!
Because the boarding line was ridiculously long, we chose to board last. Only after getting on the plane did we realize we were seated in the first row—three seats, with a stewardess occupying the innermost one. And guess what? Our overhead bin was already completely taken, even though the stewardess’s own overhead space had been left EMPTY for other passengers to use.
Why on earth was OUR designated space taken by someone else?! Then the cabin crew had the nerve to tell us that our luggage had to be checked in because the flight was about to take off. Seriously? We each had only ONE proper carry-on plus a small bag that could fit under the seat. We followed every rule. I clearly told them that passengers should have priority to use the overhead bins according to their seat numbers, and only leftover space should be given to others.
Instead, they turned around and blamed US for boarding last.
They had absolutely ZERO intention to help—none whatsoever! Tell me, why did we pay for such an expensive ticket? If this is how they operate, why don’t they force the people carrying extra luggage to check in THEIR bags instead of punishing those who followed the rules? **This happened on 28 Mar 2024.

MAS have enriched loyalty club which is supposed to enrich your MAS customer experience but instead it is there to frustrate and stress you. I just made a simple voucher redemption and it is more than 6 months and it is still not showing up but the flying points are immediately deducted . Went to their support centre for the last 6 mths and all they keep doing is to ask your to send screen shots . So if you are thinking of redeeming any of your points, you can kiss them goodbye.
