I got reliably good advice from Ron and Chris about a remote doorlock I installed in my home. Unfortunately one of the key pieces of the installation, the 923 Keypad failed after one year. The replacement has worked but we get unusual intermittent failures to function. It works now but I may have to open up the wiring if it happens again. Some kind of snap connectors might be useful for the 923 wiring. Or perhaps a smaller substitute for a wire nut. I would do it again but if there are many more intermittent failures I may have to rethink my approach.

Thank you for the feedback. Hopefully the replacement 923 keypad does not experience any further issues. If you continue to experience connectivity / intermittent failures, please give us a call.
