After doing some research, my first ever stainless steel pans were eventually by Made In. What are they good at? Their content game is strong, great at getting reviews and recommendations, and their pans are solid. I love using them. What they're not great at? Customer service, and it seems to be a pattern with many other customers. They don't have any interest in communicating with you, even after their automated message is asking for a review of their customer service. What's even more frustrating is that I paid a lot of money for it and then there was a big sale afterwards. OK, I could have waited for the sale (Black Friday) but it was then extended before and after the event. I've had services where brands offered to refund the difference but price has changed quickly. Not Made In. I wouldn't have minded paying for extra for quality, but it was frustrating to overpay for a poor customer service. I'm looking to get more stainless steel products. Would I buy from from Made In again? I'm not sure. I suspect if I was in the US, they will probably put more effort. If I was an influencer, I would definitely get more respect. But I'm looking to focus on European based brands.

After using the Made In 3- quart stainless-steel saucepan regularly, I started noticing how easily it stains, even just from boiling water. That pushed me to compare it with another saucepan I own that’s made from 18/10 stainless steel, and what I discovered was pretty surprising. The “Made in Italy” label gave me the impression I was buying something premium, but once I looked into the actual materials, that didn’t hold up. What I learned, this saucepan uses 430 stainless steel (18/0), which contains no nickel and is noticeably lower in corrosion resistance, shine, and long-term durability compared to 18/10 stainless steel, the higher-quality grade used in genuinely long-lasting cookware. Bottom line: for the price, I expected better materials and better performance. Instead, I ended up with a pan that stains quickly and relies on a lower-grade steel despite the premium marketing. Also I learned of a recent lawsuit for not letting consumers know of the forever chemicals in their nonstick pans! I won’t be buying Made In again.

The customer service provided by this company leaves much to be desired. I initiated a return for the trio pan set shortly after purchase, having observed a minor defect in the coating within the first two weeks. Additionally, the largest pan exhibited discoloration following a single use for cooking mushrooms. The set was aesthetically pleasing, featuring brass handles and a light beige coating; however, after the initial preparation of mushrooms, the entire interior surface darkened to a brownish hue. In the end, we opted to return the items. During our initial correspondence, I inadvertently lost access to my emails and contacted the company to retrieve the prior exchanges in order to proceed with an ongoing replacement process. Regrettably, they elected to commence a new exchange instead. After a period of silence, I followed up a third time and was assisted by yet another representative—the third in total—who initiated yet another exchange. This repetitive process proved time-consuming, as each agent posed a standard series of inquiries regarding usage, such as the cooking temperature employed, whether oil was applied, and if the pan was allowed to cool properly. Beyond these back-and-forth communications spanning approximately four emails per interaction, I was required to submit photographs on multiple occasions. The ordeal became increasingly burdensome and frustrating, culminating in the approval of the exchange nearly two months after my original request. A return label was subsequently provided via email, and I shipped the pans back within two days. Thereafter, I received no further communication. Approximately one month later, I sent a follow-up email to the same representative but received no reply. Resorting to the website’s live chat feature, I learned that the exchange had not been processed and was instead treated as a return eligible only for store credit. When I inquired about a monetary refund—necessitated by the delay, which compelled me to acquire an alternative pan set—the response was that the 45-day window had elapsed, limiting options to store credit alone. Thus, the protracted customer support inadvertently caused the forfeiture of a full refund. In my experience, companies that eschew telephone communication often exhibit sluggish or inadequate support, which I now regard as a significant warning sign. While the pans may perform admirably for others, my set not only discolored but also developed bubbling and chipping in the center of the small pan. Coupled with the subpar customer service, I cannot recommend this company.

customer service is nice so far by email reply and replied to my instagram dm very quickly however both chat and phone support dont work but im giving a low review because i saved up months to get a wok and food cant even be wokked/ tossed because of the handle placement. i could deal with heaviness if not but its sold under false pretense that it can toss food. it does take so much seasoning to become non stick and does get decently hot quickly but not super hot and isnt worth me returning but they couldve offered something between me needing to return it or not and was also disappointed that unlike most websites they had no sale on the wok for july 4th.

I should have done more research than I did. I should have trawled through Reddit and other sites. They are all right - these pans LOOK good and tell you they are fantastic in the kitchen but take note - they aren't. The steel is thin and with virtually no heating, buckles and bends on an electric hob rendering them hopeless thereafter. Gas would, I guess, be better but then do not advertise them as multi use from gas to electric to induction. Expensive error. Majorly. And on balance, the brand name is stupid. Anyway, buy at the peril of your wallet.

I should’ve checked here first. I received the pin, timely, but as soon as I had difficulty using it, their main recommendation” cook with something fatty and greasy” I don’t wanna pan to tell me what to cook. They usually cook eggs. But it was so difficult, even with multiple seasoning rounds and baking it in the oven, coding it with oil, etc., etc., the eggs just stuck to the pan. Really not a good product. They did take it back and issued About 90% of the cost as a credit, but I wouldn’t recommend the product.

I wish I had read trust pilot reviews before I bought my Made In nonstick pan. Just like other reviews, initially the pan was great but after about a year or so of very light use the nonstick coating began to stop working properly, despite having taken great care of the pan. As other reviews have said, after taking this up with the company I was told the non stick pans only last a couple of years! Which is ridiculous given the price point. And there was no mention of this prior to purchase on the website. Made In only have a one year warranty whereas other companies like Green Pan for example have a five year warranty. I was fobbed off by Made In with a 20% discount on a future purchase. Rest assured, there will be no future purchases! This has left me feeling like I’ve been ripped off.
