mac.bidReviews of mac.bid

MAC Bid has been a disappointing experience. I understand auctions come with risk, but it feels very deceptive when damage is intentionally hidden in the listing photos. The pictures are clearly taken in ways that avoid showing cracked, broken, or heavily worn areas of the item. What arrives often does not match the impression given online. Buyers should expect some uncertainty at auctions, but they should still be able to trust that listings honestly show the condition of the product. I would be very cautious before bidding here again.

Bought many items here with no problems. Today purchased a Little home safe. Looked at it at the warehouse look fine. He at home take it out. There are no keys and no way to open it. Sell me a $50 some dollar item. I can't even use such garbage

Broken stuff away never give money back this place is a scam

Very very inept and rude customer service. Called about an account issue and asked why my paid for item was not released. No real explanation and assistance. Days later, my account was blocked due to "violations". I asked for the violations proof and never got it. I guess I'll take my money elsewhere. Pity, I wanted to spend more. I bit of a scam from all the fees from multiple returned "like-new" items.

Be nice if they would return your money as quick as they take your money. If you take a bid it's taken out the next day. You returned the exact same day and it's been 2 weeks now and I'm still waiting for the money back. Most of the stuff is junk already been used, beat up ,thrown back in a box and shipped. Should be held to a little higher standard to at least look and inspect the object before you try to sell it.

This company scams customers from their products to their customer service. The items are broken and still put up for sale as if working or resale conduction. The staff on hand are all equally rude and inconsiderate. When you reach out to corporate they don’t have a direct line that you can reach someone, they decide to call you when they want and will tell you that you should worry about yourself and hang up on you. All I asked was to be refunded or have the item since the item was not able to be located on their workroom floor. I’ve seen them give people in front of me 10 items back that they missed the deadline for pick up and I thought ok they want to keep business and make things right, but when they’re in the wrong they will lie, cheat, and steal from you. Do not visit the San Antonio location. The managers are rude, inconsiderate, and treat you like an inconvenience when there is no clear markings or signs to say where to go or what to do. The corporate number 412-790-2821 has smartass representatives that will hang up on you without getting your name or issue. When you ask for their name they tell you to go f*** yourself

the toaster oven said as is,it turned out to be horrible, used, burned on grease, scratched looked like it had been used quite awhile, expected less than perfect, but not someone's trash

I have bid on alot of items and have loss over $500 for not getting INS on them. On the photos they look good but when I get them they are torn, missing parts, missing screens or it is damaged beyond fixing. Also it states I won an item and people are still hiding and I loose. They need to fix that glitch. Not buying anymore. Prefer to buy items on offer up. Since Dec when I started. No more
