They list some of their items as like new, on Amazon and eBay that would be like new condition. On Mac bid it means it may be broken or missing pieces, never seen such a rip off site

We win a pallet that was described as worth 2200 dollars only to discover when we get there that they took most of the stuff out put a big trash rug under and a few trash to make it look full they just put the things that appear on the picture on the top to make it look it was like that. It's a total fraud what they do . If you get one take pictures of the list and count there to make a complaint. Another time I see the supervisor talking a box out of the pallet I won it's so wrong!

MAC,BID's on-line Bid process is deceptive because it hides the fact that mac.bid will charge a %15 "buyer’s premium" charge on the winning bid. In addition to the "Bid price", the "final cost" of the current winning bid should be shown on the "Bid Page" to make it clear to the bidder that they will be paying an additional "$3 Lot Fee" plus %15 in addition to their Bid.

I was bidding on an item a few days ago through their app and it looked like I should've won but then in the watchlist under "won/lost" it showed "0" for both items and gave me no notification that I won the bid under (awaiting pickup) or any of the categories that would actually make sense. I just so happened to check my email today and was notified that I won and there is now a late fee because I haven't paid yet. When I called customer service, the woman informed me "sorry you don't understand our policies"...bro i'm not a boomer, I know how to use tech and I had to jump through hoops in your app in order to find where it said that I won the bid. It was under purchase history btw... FOR AN ITEM THAT I HAVEN'T HAD A HISTORY OF PURCHASING. lmao. this pmo. This can all be VERY easily rectified. Take notes. Issue a refund for YOUR confusing policies and improve your customer service/ app accordingly. It's a great concept but this company will never take off treating people like this.
