I won a shelving unit cost total was 25.00 it was only half there and this half was mostly broken, the whole thing should have been put in the trash. I was totally at a loss of my money and time, won't be bidding on anything else. I just can't afford to throw money away. This was from the Akron facility.

Buyer beware. They nickel and dime you to sell junk with their misleading product descriptions and absolute terrible customer service.

-0 .It's all a scam. I bought some tables that were supposed to be new, but they arrived broken. I called to file a report because I paid around $80 and the service was terrible. It's not the first time something has arrived damaged. Other times it was a small amount, but to not even get an answer, with so many staff members, they should inspect the merchandise and stop stealing from and scamming people. Real reviews, not downloaded from the internet. I would never buy anything there again. The service is awful.

Another bust with MacBid. Bid on and won two auctions for LIKE NEW narrow storage cabinets. The listing showed it was 3-tiers, the Amazon link showed 3-tiers and the list price was for 3-tier unit. Package was pristine BUT each unit was only 2-tiers, so I overpaid — $40 -50 by the time you added their handling fees. Customer service would not help, warehouse manager would not help because I didn’t purchase buyer protection. False advertising!!!

I recently purchased several items that were all listed as “like new.” Unfortunately, that description couldn’t have been further from the truth. When I received my order, multiple items showed clear signs of use — scratches, dirt, things put together wrong and even one that wouldn’t turn on at all. A few other items were missing essential parts, making them completely unusable. There is basically no return policy so I ended up stuck with junk that I just ended up throwing away. Overall, I would not recommend this company. The listings were misleading, and the hassle of dealing with defective or incomplete products simply isn’t worth it

Absolutely awful. So let me count the ways this place is garbage. 1) do not tell you when you are outbid on an item. 2) automatic $3 "lot fee" for every product. 3) say they will auto charge your card then do not. 4) you cannot pick up your product until after 12pm. Unless you pay $29.99 for a membership. They do not tell you this when you win the auction. Not joking. 5) no refunds. Unless you pay the $29.99 membership fee. Stay away, Stat very far away from this place.

I’ve bought several items from Mac Bid…had a few items that were defective. However, today I had the worst experience at the Monroeville, Pa location. I purchased a rocking chair for $46 and the arm was totally cracked and not useable. I asked for a manager review and was treated terribly. She first asked me to read the paragraph that states there could be damage. I understood that, but still hoped for consideration in the matter! She said her boss does not permit her to deviate from that policy and walked away. She NEVER even looked at the product. She then instructed her staff to carry it to the garbage!!! If your product deserves to be put in the garbage, then you should be issuing a refund!!! Totally rude person!

Total ripoff !!!! The owners should be thrown in jail running a ponsi scheme .taking money off people's cards .not showing they won an item .then reposting the same item for sale again .if you call the customer service line you get a recording to leave a message and nobody calls you back. I read the reviews and it seems like a recurring theme . A class action law suit should be brought up against this company. They can take the dollars they stole from me and wipe their behinds with it .because this is the crappiest company I have ever dealt with......
